He didn't get much time to think about what to do when a sudden knock on the door was heard by both tiny and normal ears. That managed to stir Kitty awake from her dream though her eyes weren't open yet much to Peter's dismay. She slowly rose from her bed with parts of her hair being taken from the mattress.
"Hey, you're not gonna leave me behind!" Peter shouted and grabbed the nearest strand of hair just before he was hoisted up in the air with the giant leaving her bed. Still in her underwear, she walked to the door and brought her head towards the frame. With her powers activated, her head phased through the door though some of her hair, including the tiny Peter, remained on the other side.
"What is it?" Kitty asked while looking a bit displeased as she was trying to wake up. In front of her was Bobby Drake whose hand almost went through her and stepped back as if startled.
"Woah, forgot you could do that sometimes. Sorry, anyway it's almost nine in the morning and you need to wake up. We got stuff to do." He said and gave her his best smile out of kindness. She didn't think much of it and nodded slowly as she pulled her head back into her room.
"Thanks, Bobby! Not like I needed rest after that battle yesterday!" She shouted and walked over to her dresser, rubbing her eyes a bit as she pulled out some good clothes to wear. Peter was still stuck climbing up the brown rope that was the girl's hair, briefly reminding himself of the climbing ropes that'd be on the ceiling in gym class. To think that he had trouble with that one years ago.
"So there was a fight. Maybe I can find out more when I get up to her ear." If there was any way for him to find out why he was shrunk, then this was certainly one way. Still determined to get to her head, Peter kept on climbing while wishing that his web shooters were still on him. Then he felt everything move around when she grabbed her hair with a headband ready to tie it together.
He was pulled and found himself dangling onto a new strand that hung over her back. He pulled himself up to hug the strand now that it had become a part of a ponytail, all while Kitty started to put on some clothes. Dressed up in a regular shirt and jeans with the addition of the yellow X-Men jacket, she walked right though the door on her way to the kitchen for some breakfast.
Thanks to being attached to her, Peter was able to phase through the door like she had. He was thankful for that, but he had to keep going and make it to her ear. It did not help that her ponytail was bouncing around as she walked and threatened to throw him off and get lost in the hall of mutant students and teachers.
Was Peter able to remain on her hair or did he fall off?
