Knowing that Phoebe was young enough to know more about his phone than he did, and that her boyfriend was a bit nerdy from the way she talked about him, Steven decided to get her help with the strange app. Handing her his phone after a brief explanation of how it randomly appeared and wouldn't delete, Phoebe began tearing through Steven's phone to figure out how to deal with the app. After minutes of trying every solution she and her boyfriend Dan, who she called for solutions with the app, Phoebe gave up and handed the phone back to Steven. Shrugging, Phoebe said: "Well, the app's staying. Might as well play around with it and enjoy it.", her tone of voice showing how fed up she was with her failed attempts.
Showing Phoebe the sole feature the nameless app had available, the others grayed out, Phoebe looked intrigued and suggested: "Well might as well try it out on me, it's probably just some game or something." Pressing the "Mind Control" button and selecting the "Think Actions Are Their Own" sub option, Steven placed Phoebe in the app's camera target and took a picture. Seeing nothing happen, Steven looked at his phone and saw a myriad of options, so many that he had to scroll for quite a few seconds to see all of them. Deciding to use the top default one, labeled "Basic Commands", Steven pressed it and watched as Phoebe rapidly blinked.
Wondering if it worked, Steven decided to the first most basic command that popped into his head: "Give me a high five", only for Phoebe to grin and eagerly slap Steven's free hand. Wondering what else he could do, Steven told his young co-worker other things to do, such as having Phoebe spin around, give him another high five, do some jumping jacks, and other pretty harmless things.
