It was the second year at PCA where girls were allowed to attend the school, and some of the older boys had come up with a few different rights of passage for the younger students. One of which was the participation in a panty raid where the boys would break into a girl's room and steal their underwear. The older boys choose Dustin Brooks to enter Room 101, the room where his sister Zoey lived with her roommates Nicole and Lola.
However, his sister Zoey Brooks was not the intended target. The older boys tasked him with bringing back a pair of Lola Martinez's underwear to prove his worth as one of the guys. Still, he didn't want to get caught exiting his sister's room with a pair of panties, even if they did belong to her roommate.
Eventually, Dustin came up with a plan to steal Lola's underwear right under her nose by first stealing a device from Quinn. During the last school science fair, he remembered the brainy girl showing off her Shrink Ray, a device that, as expected, shrunk whatever it was used on... for about an hour before it returned to normal. A defect that, unbeknownst to Dustin, she had fixed weeks prior.
Because Quinn had a room all to herself, it was easy for Dustin to sneak inside while she was out, giving him ample time to locate the device. He looked down, hoping Quinn had taken the precaution to test this on living humans before pointing the barrel at his chest. He took a deep breath and one last moment to survey his surroundings before easing his finger down on the trigger, realizing that in just a few short moments, everything would be a lot bigger.
Dustin felt a shocking pain in his chest as the device stunned him, reducing his body in size almost immediately. There was a short pause, and then all at once, the room seemed to shoot up around him, smaller objects like book and scientific beakers grew to the size of houses, while larger structures like bookcases and Quinn's bed took the shape of full-sized buildings.
The shrink ray became too large to hold, causing him to drop it accidentally. However, Dustin shrunk even faster than the device could fall to the floor, leaving him at the small stature of only one inch tall. Before he could come to appreciate his new size, a loud bang from behind suddenly forced him to turn around, terrified that Quinn might have returned earlier than he expected.
But the booming sound was not the result of a stomp from the angry nerd girl as he initially feared. Instead, it was the same device he used to shrink himself broken into pieces behind him. "Whatever, Quinn can always build another one anyways." He thought to himself, deciding it wasn't his problem the shrink ray broke. Little did he know, there was no way to return to his original size without that device.
A minute later, Dustin crawled out from underneath Quinn's door and into the Hallways of Brenner Hall. The walls reached up so high he could barely comprehend them. There were no students' in his line of sight, but he doubted his luck would hold out for long as he rounded the corner towards Room 101.
On his way there, Dustin encountered only one other student by the name of Vicky, a girl he's seen Zoey hanging out with from time to time. The young Japanese girl was the same age as Zoey and was practically the size of a skyscraper from his point of view. Her long strides each covered the length of an entire football field as she walked past Dustin without seeing a thing. Her body's shadow eclipsed his tiny form as she turned the corner, the booming sensations of her footsteps leaving the shrunken boy weak in the knees.
At that moment, Dustin was glad that he decided to shrink himself. He would've been spotted and easily identified by Vicky if she saw him leaving Zoey's room with Lola's panties, but now he could enter and exit the room undetected.
A few minutes later, Dusting reached the end of the hallway, peaking under the doorway to make sure none of the three girls living in the room were inside. The ghost was clear. So he crawled under the door, beginning his search for anywhere Lola might stash her underwear.
There was a laundry basket in the corner that he assumed the girls shared, making it unlikely that he would grab a pair of Lola's panties instead of Zoey's or Nicole's. There was also a dresser with three drawers that he knew the girls shared next to their closet. He knew that the top drawer belonged to his sister Zoey, while the bottom drawer held some of Nicole's clothes, which meant the middle drawer likely housed Lola's panties and socks.
"Great, how do I get up now?" Dustin asked, beginning to wish he thought out a plan to get Lola's panties once he was inside the girl's room. That's when he spotted a cord from one of the girl's hairdryers leading up to the top of the dresser. If he climbed to the top, he might find a way inside to steal Lola's panties.
He ran over to the wire, wrapping his entire body around the cord as he began to shimmy his way up the side of the dresser. It only took him a few minutes of climbing to reach the top, a surprising athletic feat for someone so tiny. However, the effort from climbing over 200 feet of the thick rope left him physically exhausted, forcing him to take a few moments to regain his lost stamina.
But before he could fully catch his breath, Dustin's situation took an unexpected turn for the worse as a large shadow appeared over his tiny body from above. Someone else was in the room standing over him. But who?
1. Zoey Brooks- She heard about Dustin's task to steal Lola's panties and is disappointed in her very little brother for his behavior. Taking it upon herself to teach him a lesson.
2. Lola Martinez- Lola comes back from class earlier than expected, but she doesn't know Dustin is there, giving him an opportunity to hide and still complete his mission.
3. Nicole Bristow- Nicole sees Dustin on top of the dresser, but she doesn't see him as a person at first. She sees him as a bug, grabbing a slipper off the floor to try and squash him.
4. Quinn Pensky- Quinn found her Shrink Ray in pieces upon returning to her room, somehow tracking Dustin to Zoey's room. Of course, she's angry that the tiny boy would use her invention for such a dumb reason, and elects to punish him herself.
