The quick sound of little feet stomping on the creaky wooden stairs filled the normally silent air of the basement. Tommy and Chuckie were running or well, crawling for their very lives. The monster they were running from was none other then Tommy cousin who was currently trapped in fiery raged the likes of which the two babies never seen before, a mix of being woken up from her mid afternoon nap early and the fact she believe the two of them to stolen her cookies.
No amount of pleading or protesting could cool her off so it left them no other choice but to run, and run they did all through the house but they could not shake the bratty toddler in her blind rage.
No place up stairs was safe so it left little choice but the basement. Normally Chuckie wouldn't dare step foot in such a dark frightening place but the fear of what Angelica might do was overwriting his fear of the basement.
The two of them stumble down the last step, tommy landing on his soft padded bottom and Chuckie flat on his back.
"Tommy what are we gonna do?" Chuckie stammered out.
"Don't worry bout it Chuck! Angelica will never finded us down heres" Tommy replied with full confident in his voice. Chuckie was starting to feel a little reassured for moment or two before that loud uncontrolled voice bellowed through the basement from the top of the stairs.
"You dumb babies! You can't run for ever!" Angelica said stomping down the stairs. The two babies go to their feet well in tommy case on her knees. Both of them heading far as possible from the stairs to the other side of the room, hiding behind a long curtain that hung by the wall.
Angelica stood there at the bottom of the stairs her eyes darting around the room scanning for the two babies. Chuckie gulp feeling her eyes lingering on the curtain. Her foot steps growing louder and louder by the second.
"T-tom-tommy she co-" Chuckie stuttered to which Tommy press his hand to Chuckie face as silent way of saying be quite.
"Don't worry chuckie she never finded us" He said not so silently.
"There you dumb babies are!" She said now looking down at the two babies crowed behind the curtain. She reach out to grab tommy who duck and crawled under her legs. Her hand grabbing the curtain as Chuckie raced around the other side to meet up with Tommy. Angelica still grasping the fabric marched around tearing the curtain away and revealing a large standing mirror, with trimming of gold and shine that seem like an other worldly glow.
A chase begin of the three of them rushing around the basement knocking over all sorts of items over and to the ground, leaving a mess well more of mess. No matter where the two went the bully caught up to them until the two friends were back up to the mirror. Angelica step closer and closer as the two of them back up more and more.
"Now I got you two!" She said as their back touch the mirror. It felt odd mostly because it felt like nothing was there!. Nether had the time to think about or really noticed as they just mindlessly back up once more. The two of them tumbled back around fall onto their backs.
However it wasn't the cold ground of the basement but rather soft and fuzzy like comfy blanket, and the celling they were staring up at wasn't the creaky old underside of the floor boards but what was colour picture of the sky which reach all the way down the walls.
"What happen Tommy?" Chuckie asked sitting up looking around this new room. It look more like daycare playroom then his friend's basement.
"Don't know chuckie, but I like it" He said his toes curly up as he laid comfortably on the rug taking a moment to enjoy the safety they found.
Then a voice said
