“F-Formula?” You wonder your way back to the woman. “Like... what type of Formula.” She walked into her kitchen, kind of a weird position to conduct a test. She went over and pulled something out, before handing it you. Lusamine smiled wide you.
“Drink it intern.” The woman said, as you were not gonna just drink it.
“W-What does it do?”
“Wait a second, don’t drink it yet.” She said to you. Honestly you weren’t even sure she heard you. Instead Lusamine walked around and you followed.
“S-So what does it do?”
“Quite impatient.” She said looking over her shoulder. “Not good for a young boy. I will tell you what it is when my daughter is here?
Lillie? Okay right now you were just confused, and honestly worried. You still listened to her and followed her into the main living room.
“Lillie, can you come down here for a second!” Her mother called. You waited there awkwardly for a second, until Lillie came down as well.
“Y-Yes Mother.”
“Do you think you can do something for me.” Lusamine asked. “For your mother?”
“W-What is it?”
“Is that a yes Lillie. Be clear.” Lusamine said, you would argue quite rudely.
“Yes i’ll help you Mother.”
“Good, now you.” She said turning to you. “You are wondering what that Formula is?”
“Y-Yes Lusamine.” You say feeling as awkward as Lillie did.
“It’s simple. That formula will spread throughout your body, getting into your blood stream, in your veins, in your very cellular code. With this, it will be able to compress your atomic structure, reconstructing it and getting rid of the area between your atoms.”
Hearing this, you were shocked at what you heard. You thought your skin was just going to turn green but this was so much more. “S-So what you are saying is, this can get rid of the space! That’s amazing! Revolutionary!” You say impressed, and this was something that Lusamine was happy about. “Something that can affect atoms, this will change the world! W-Wait... it compresses them, as in?”
“Yes you will be compressed as well. Since your Atoms are your own this will be the only way I can see you surviving.”
“H-Have you done tests?” You wonder to her.
“On rodents, but a Person is what we are planning for our next step. I was HOPING that the Academy would send students, willing to have their name in history, however the principal denied my request.
“W-Wait... you still want me to drink it. I’m the... f-first test subject.”
“Intern.” She corrected. “An Intern shall do anything they are asked of, and this is not different. Think of this as... an opening, to a greater spot in the Aether Foundation.”
You look your way at the formula, worried. Should you drink it, there was reasons to do it, and not to do it.
“I-I’m sorry Mother.” Lillie said, hands on her legs and looking down. “But I don’t think I follow.”
“Lillie,” Lusamine sounded disappointed. “I expect my daughter to at least follow this simple science. Intern explain.”
“S-Sure.” Wow Lusamine was strict on her daughter. “Well, I guess in simple words, this will... shrink me.”
“S-Shrink?” Lillie said eyes wide.
“Yeah, down in size. It’s amazing.”
“So you will do it?” Lusamine wondered as you weren’t sure how to feel.
At the same moment, this is an opportunity, you need to seize it.
“I’ll... do it.” You say to her as smiled.
“Great, well then let’s prepare shall we.” Lusamine said as you were happy about this. She went over to the couch, pointing at it. “You will sleep here when specified. We wake up at 5:00 sharp. If I find you sleeping in, there will be punishments. You will walk wi-”
“W-What?” You say back to her, just stunned. “You plan on me... staying here?”
“This is much more complicated than just you taking one drink and leaving. We will need to monitor the effects it has on you and your body.”
“Well, s-shouldn’t we go to the Aether Foundation itself, i-”
“No.” She said as that was a firm one. “You will walk with Lillie to school and return with her. Lillie, I want you to look over him over the course of the day. This is your job too, i’m giving you a big responsibility.”
“Y-Yes Mother.” Lillie said.
Lusamine than turned to you. “You will allow myself to scan and inspect your body. No clothes. I know you teenagers can be quite worrisome of this.”
“Oh uh...” You say blush on your face. “I-It’s fine.”
Lusamine went over some more stuff, but most of it honestly went over your head. So Lusamine and Lillie were gonna look over you, as you go ahead and shrink.
You get over any fear that you had, as you brought the formula to your lips.
“Drink it up, fully I might add.”
You nod, having to convince yourself this was for the best. This was for science and this was for your future. Lillie of course to the side, curious what it will look like. You Shrunken.
You go ahead and drink it down. Drinking the entire formula. Eventually you went ahead and relaxed yourself. Relaxing yourself before looking at the two of them.
“H-Here’s to hope I don’t die.” You say nervously to them. You go ahead and wait for a while before grabbing your stomach.
“Oh, yeah I feel it in me.”
“In pain?” Lusamine questioned to you.
“K-Kinda! It feels more like a passing thing.” Oh you were so going to regret this. Shrinking down, you were so going to regret this.
Eventually Lusamine saw you calm down, seeming to note that the pain has went away.
“S-So... how does this really work. At what rate Lusamine?” You ask the mother.
Lusamine smiled, seeing you were curious about this.
