Ochako thought about her options and chose to risk it and shrink herself down to spy on her crush. She remembered that Hatsume mentioned the shrunken target would not break or die easily, so she felt safe to try it on herself. She stared at the device for a bit longer before she headed back to the hallway, shut off the lights and headed upstairs and to Midoriya's room.
Once Ochako stood outside of Midoriya's room she adjusted the remote to the blue setting, meaning it would shrink whatever it targeted. She breathed in deeply, with a hint of shaking in her breath. Either excitement or nervousness was the cause for this shaking. Regardless, Ochako pressed the button after aiming it at herself. Not soon after that she dwindled in size slowly, keeping the button pressed until she reached the size of an ant, big enough to fit under the door. Conveniently, the size remote had shrunk along with Ochako. This gave her a safe feeling.
Ochako looked around the slightly lit up hallway. She couldn't believe how small she was. After looking at the gigantic door in front of her, she also couldn't believe that her crush was currently sleeping, ready for her to spy on. She wasted no time to squeeze under the door. What she encountered on the other side was a dark room. She could barely make out the posters on the walls, most, if not all of them showing the previous number one hero: Allmight. it was obvious that Midoriya was a fanboy.
She walked further into the dormroom, passing some discarded socks. They had a slight musky smell. One you'd expect from worn socks. Then again, they also had the scent of Midoriya on them, so Ochako didn't mind the muskiness at all. She got to the edge of the bed and could look at the time on the alarm clock. The red numbers displayed: 4:57 AM. Ochako figured she would still have plenty of time until Midoriya should wake up.
