There was a foggy forest that many people and pokemon had been vanishing in. It ranges from normal civilians, to even some other rangers going missing when investigating the foggy forest.
The strange thing is is that the fog doesn't go away, even when somebody using the de fog move to eliminate it.
Following peoples trials, a lot of them have just stop and end in the middle of the road or where ever they were walking in. but there's no other tracks that would lead to a struggle or kidnapping... at least from anything on ground level.
The forest is one that's been forbidden of entry by the locals, but many people still use it, whether for thrill seeking, or use it as a short cut in between towns.
Harper would be the forth ranger to go in and investigate the forest, with theories as to what he might be dealing with to help him on his first mission.
After taking as much information on the situation as possible, the newly fledged pokemon Ranger goes out and meet another ranger who was to give him assistance in this puzzling case.
When he gets to the edge of the foggy forest, where a cabin laid where their base of operations would take place, Harper finds...
