This choice: Your friend wakes to meet his student in a different form • Go Back...Chapter #6Your friend wakes to meet his student in a diff... by: gaydud   Although you thought the idea of pranking Richie would get a good laugh from him, you soon thought better of it. After all, the longer Richie spent in his own body the longer he had to suffer. And with that you walk over to Richie and gently wake him up.
"Ugh... who's there? I need to rest right now." Richie said with a groggy tone.
"Richie, it's me Chupeli." You reply, which seemed to grab his attention.
"Oh, Chupeli? Hey old buddy! You've been gone for weeks! How's it goin-" he paused upon leaning up and seeing a blue Gardevoir claiming to be his friend. "Wait a second, you're not Chupeli! Who are you?"
"Look, I know you're not gonna believe me, but I am actually Chupeli. Look, I can prove it!" Deciding that you had to see him as yourself first and foremost, you decide to take off the Gardevoir suit. You recognized it was slightly risky as anybody could come in to see you had "snuck" back into the village, but you had to prove the truth to Richie.
You began to focus on separating yourself from the suit, and as you thought about it you once again found yourself under a pile of "clothing".
"What is going on?" Richie exclaims, probably shocked at the Gardevoir currently deflating in front of him.
"Uhhh...give me one second!" You shout out, realizing that probably got muffled by the costume. You make your way to the mouth and are able to squeeze through, looking your mentor directly face to face now.
"Chupeli..."Richie says somberly.
"Uhh...yeah. Hey Richie." You awkwardly say back.
He walks up and gives you a hug, which surprised you.
"I'm so happy to see you. I heard about what happened with Mama Tyranitar, knowing it couldn't be true. However, it was still sad since it meant you had to leave in fear of your life. I really thought I wasn't gonna get to see you!" Richie proclaims.
"Richie... I'm really happy to see you too! I'm glad you're still here and alive!" You respond.
"Oh I'm not gonna go out that easil-*cough* *cough*" Richie hacked out.
"Please Richie, sit back down. You need to relax." you say.
"Yes you're right" Richie replies, as he moves back to his bed. "So I need to ask, how did you fit in that Gardevoir costume? It seems way too big for you."
"Oh right. Actually, that's not just any costume, that is an actual Gardevoir." You admit.
"Huh? Is that a joke?" Richie asks.
"I know it sounds like it but I'm telling the truth, here watch this." You say, getting ready to reenter Gardevoir. Opening up the mouth once more, you slip in quite easily, and soon you found yourself in control of the Gardevoir once again. Quickly lifting yourself off of the floor to greet your mentor.
"I know it sounds and looks crazy, but I am Chupeli." You say, trying to make him believe you.
"I don't doubt you, but this is... quite the revelation you've made here. How did you manage to turn a living breathing Pokémon into a suit?" Richie asks completely perplexed.
"Right, so I found this orb while I was out adventuring one day" You explain, summoning the orb "and it let's me do this."
"Wow... that's quite the artifact you have there." Richie says.
"I know right? And the best part is that the body you inhabit is basically considered your own. This is why I think I can help you Richie!" You mention reaching for your bag.
"Oh?"
"You see, before I got this Gardevoir suit, I had been living as another Pokémon, which is this Zoroark right here!" You say pulling out the Zoroark suit. "And I want to offer this suit to you Richie. You won't have to deal with your old and sickly body anymore, and you'll become quite the strong Pokémon."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
