Derek went from being underneath his brother's toe to suddenly appearing in something white and massive. Half of his body was instantly submerged in the stuff and he had trouble trying to move around as if he were glued in place. Even if he were to try and free himself, there was still the massive circular wall around him that he couldn't climb up, he'd just slip and end up back here with very little hope for him to escaper.
Then he felt everything move again, the entire thing shifted and Derek almost sunk further into the substance when he looked up and saw something heading straight down: A pointy potato chip! It made contact and scooped up a large portion of the stuff before taking it away with only a CRUNCH heard afterwards. That was the only clue Derek needed to realize how screwed he was, because he was in the bowl of dip and a chorus of hands holding potato chips was about to arrive.
"This is really good!" He heard Adric said from somewhere, "You've got to try some of this!"
"Oh I will-Hey, that's my chip!" There was Marco who yelled out to someone and his chip seemed to be moving forward and then back.
"No way, I like the bigger pieces!" Tyson seemed to be taking a bite of a separate chip while fighting for Marco's own, all of their voices reminded Derek that they didn't care if a tiny speck of a human was in their food, they were gonna eat and they wouldn't stop.
Derek wanted to move yet he couldn't and was forced to witness the chips hit the surface of the dip and scoop up many parts of it. Large parts of the tasty dip were in full display with parts of it falling back into the bowl with the teen almost submerged from some of the drops.
Thanks to his inability to move, Derek saw a chip land dangerously close to him and could only watch as it started to pull itself up and this time take him up above like so much of the dip before him. Even as he struggled, he wouldn't make much progress on his escape and his eyes widen as he realized that the giant that scooped him up was...
