OK; so, you want The Great Prince to swap lives with his son, Bambi. But, what are the circumstances that causes this to happen?
Option 1: In an effort to teach Bambi about being responsible, (and perhaps to take a little break from his duties), The Great Prince takes his son to a mystical pool of water, which swaps their lives when they drink from it. Now, Bambi (in his father's life) has to learn how to manage and govern the forest, while The Great Prince (in Bambi's life) gets to play with Bambi's friends and enjoy himself for as long as the swap lasts...
Option 2: While walking through the forest one evening, The Great Prince and Bambi find a mysterious glowing stone. After they touch it, nothing seems to happen at first. But, when they wake up the next morning, The Great Prince discovers that everyone thinks that he is Bambi and that Bambi is him! Worse; Bambi is unaware of the switch and thinks he really IS The Great Prince!
The Great Prince now has the daunting task of living his son's life, while also attempting to search for the glowing stone, in order to change them back to normal...
