Chapter #7

Yes

    by: Unknown
As it was near nighttime in Little Bear's house, the young cub was anxiously waiting for the small bath tub to fill up as normally,he didn't really care much for baths but since this was a particularly busy day for him and his friends at playtime,he was looking forward to it.

"Mother Bear, the water's almost ready." He announced, watching as the flowing water was close to being being full to the tippy top.

"Good Little Bear, better go ahead and get in before it starts to get cold." Came his mother's voice from the small kitchen area.

As he prepared to turn off the water, the young cub couldn't help but suddenly reach up and attempt to scratch his fur(around his backside as it itched horribly all of a sudden.

"There...now to turn off the water....Huh? There it is again! I-it feels like something's crawling or walking on my fur...Mother Bear..." He sought to ask his mother to see what the problem was but ultimately decided to handle this himself as with one pair of clawed paws,he began searching around the itchy area until like a pair of pinchers, his small claws managed to grab onto something really small, microscopic off of his fur as he slowly brought up the tiny figure wearing only a small green striped hat on it's head and had a total of six legs in all and was dark brown in color,up to his eyes which were really wide.
"Ohh,hello! My,y-you're a flea aren't you? I have heard of fleas! my friend Cat told me all about them, although i have never seen one up close." Little Bear said, not in the slightest upset or surprised that a small creature had just infected his fur as the flea surprisingly, was unfazed by the gigantic cub at all as it spoke in a thick Italian accent.
"So very sorry Mr. Bear but I was just lost that's all...it was really dark outside and I didn't look where I was leaping and next thing I knew,I wound up on your fur by accident. Please don't be angry...by the way,my name's Pepe and I come from a land far away from here....."

As a few hours later,Little Bear was really interested as he carefully listened to the flea's stories about faraway lands he and his own friends(except for maybe Emily and her grandmother had either never heard of nor ever explored),in his bedroom.

"Ohh,that sounds very interesting Pepe! I'd love to hear more of your adventures around the world! And all of my friends would too. Especially Emily, she and her grandmother has been all over the world, well, her grandmother has! But,you can stay in my room and nothing bad will happen to you and tomorrow morning,we can meet Emily and my other friends so you can tell more of your amazing stories!" Little Bear happily, informed him.

"Thank you Little Bear. It feels so good to have someone really appreciate you as a friend and not try and step on you or squash you simply for being a flea!" Pepe replied, satisfied that he had found someone to actually talk to.

By the next day....
