Austin glared at his teacher as she helped him up, and as soon as he’d been pulled to standing, he squatted down.
Truth be told, a lot of Austin’s “accidents” weren’t accidents at all. He’d been fighting potty training since his parents first started, and now at six years old, everyone was getting a bit sick of it.
Angry at having been pulled away from his Lego, Austin started wetting his pull-up easily. It was second nature to him. What was harder came next — he’d been trying his hardest to make sure he had as many truly full pull-ups as he could, in an effort to get back into diapers and keep playing all the time.
So he pushed, hard, and managed a small fart before his teacher picked him up.
“Alright, alright. Let’s get you to the bathroom before you do a poop in there, okay?”
