Van yawned as he stretched his arms, having to wake up so early was bac enough, but having to attend Agnès' posh highschool was even worse, so many kids crowded into the place's walls, all of them wearing that ugly uniform, and what made him internally gag was when they greeted him.
"Hi Agnès!" a girl with brown hair greeted him as he passed by her, clearly one of his assistant's friends.
"Hey you" Van answered, forcing a smile to his face as he spoke in what he believed to be a cute tone, trying to play the part of the friendly girl he was supposed to be, while also slowly increasing the speed of his step.
"Did you-" the girl tried to ask but Van cut her off, walking away and leaving the question die in her mouth.
"Sorry, really busy right now, I'll talk to you later!" the spriggan turned teenage girl answer, hoping he wouldn't have to stay here for long, now if he could only remember how many hours Agnès spend in this place.
"Ugh" he grunted as he scratched his shoulders, the uniform was more uncomfortable than expected, the blazer was just too itchy, making him fight the desire to throw it away and scratch every fiber of his being, but unfortunately he wouldn't be able to do that, otherwise Agnès would kill him.
"Now where to go?" Van asked himself as he checked Agnès schedule, rolling his eyes as he saw how many classes he had to attend to, and the add insult ti injury he had to attend to Agnès' extracurricular activities before having a chance to reunite with his handsome body and the irritable girl inside it, "Where's this classroom?" he looked up, scanning the hall for any numbered door, and after a few moments of walking he found it.
Poking inside the room, he was met by even more students, each one living their own lives, talking to their friends about something trivial and fortunately none had noticed that Agnès had entered the room, or they just didn't care, any of those responses was good enough for him.
Not wanting to look weird, Van stashed the schedule in the blazer's pocket and took a sit, placing Agnès' backpack next to the sit while he browsed for the correct notebook, having to spend hours taking notes about something that he didn't cared about, and he would forget in half an hour, but he knew if he didn't do it Agnès woul never let go of that, reminding him of how he ruined her reputation.
"Agnès!" a loud bang was heard by the spriggan as he heard the weight of something landing on his desk, looking up he saw a familiar figure, one of the few friends of Agnès that recognised.
"Renne..." he greeted her in a lackluster manner, barely lifting his eyes from his backpack, the purple haired girl was smirking at him, had he done something wrong? Did Agnès had a nickname for her? He wasn't sure but something on his reaction seemed to be humourous for her since she started to chuckled.
"Hehe" Renne winked as she passed a hand through his hair, "Still asleep Agnès? I han never seen you with such a bedhead"
"Bedhead?" Van asked, his eyes growing wide at the comment, placing his hands on his head as as if that would hide whatever he had done to Agnès' hair, he hadn't bothered to comb it, just hoping no one would notice but apparently the plan had failed.
"Awww, how cute~" Renne cooed as a smirk formed in her face, "I'm just messing with you Agnès, you seemed more stressed than usual, let me guess, you stayed up all night thinking about the exam?"
"Exam?" Van raised an eyebrow at the mention of the word, what exam was she talking about? Then his eyes slightly twitched as he remembered, Agnès had whined all night about an exam, how could he forgot that! "Um, yeah really nervous, you know how I am! I'm really worried about my grades!"
"You sure about that? It seemed like you just remembered we have an exam"
"No! I spend all night studying!" Van argued, trying to keep up the façade.
"What's the exam about?" she asked, shattering his disguise.
"..." he was left speechless, he hadn't ever touched Agnes' stuff, he had just looked at her schedule and that was that, he had no idea what kind of tests did she had.
"What subject is the exam about?" she asked again, making the spriggan's blood pressure rise.
"Um, biology?" he guessed.
"Mathematics"
"I mean, biological mathematics!".
"That's not a subject Agnès" Renne smiled, placing her elbows on his desk and getting her face close to his own, "You didn't study at all did you? Did you spend all night thinking about him?"
"Him? What are you talking about?" Van was growing red by the situation, a girl was really close to him and he assumed she was asking him about a silly crush of Agnès.
"Oh don't play dumb with me, you know exactly who 'him' is"
"Uhh can you give me a clue?" he asked, slightly moving his face away from her own, and while he wouldn't admit it, he was kind of curious to know who the kid had fallen for, once they swapped back he would waste no time teasing her about this!
Renne rolled her eyes at the reply but decided to play along, "You know, older than you, bluish hair, long jacket, huge ego, his name starts with V, runs an unsuccessful spriggan agency"
"..." Van blinked as he heard Renne's words, the mental image of himself slowly forming in his mind, he shook his head, thinking there was no way it could be him, but while he did that, he ended up looking down, getting a good view of himself, or rather Agnès' body, clad in a sea-green blazer and white shirt, the blonde locks falling on his shoulders, the short pleated skirt allowing him to see his legs, allowed him to see he was shaking, did Agnès really felt that way?
"Awwww" Renne cooed one more time, this time proceeding pinch his cheek, forcing him to look up, "Look at that pink face, I still don't get what you see in that you though"
