The second Cody finished his newest entry into the all-powerful book, over a decade's worth of amazing memories were ingrained into his mind. Treasured memories of his new life with Lindsay as his childhood friend turned girlfriend.
He clearly remembered how they first met when they were in Kindergarten. It was during playtime and he was building a small city and a robot with a box of Legos. When suddenly the cutest girl in the class came up to him, curiously asking what he was doing. He remembered how her long blonde hair tied in the cutest set of twin-tails you've ever seen and had a Barbie doll dressed like Supergirl in her hands.
After explaining that he was building a city for a giant robot to destroy, the girl very innocently yet sternly said that was very nice and how her superhero Barbie would stop that mean robot. That's when Cody came up with the brilliant idea of including her in his game, were he would play the evil robot threatening to destroy the city and she would play the superhero that would stop him and save the day.
He now remembered the absolutely radiant smile that beamed across her face when she agreed to play with him, how his heart stopped beating for nearly a full minute from seeing something so beautiful. And he remembered his heart shattering when the teacher announced that playtime was over. The girl was just as sad as he was that they didn't get to play their game, but then brightened up when she realized that they could play it tomorrow, which in-turn cheered Cody right up.
He remembered introducing himself and her telling him that her name was Lindsay. The next day during playtime they built the Lego city and robot together and played Superhero Barbie, and that was the day that started a wonderful, life-long friendship.
He remembered the days when they would watch Disney movies together, singing-along with all the songs and playing out their favorite scenes. He remembered introducing Lindsay to Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Z, Dungeons&Dragons, Star Wars and Star Trek and how she grew to love all those franchises as much as he did.
He remembered how he helped Lindsay to always remember peoples names and how they even studied together. Even though Lindsay was always a bit slower than him, he remembered how she always tried her best, slowly but surely becoming smarter over the years while still retaining her very girly, innocent charm.
He remembered this one time in Middle-School when he and Lindsay were playing Yu-Gi-Oh! in the cafeteria, when a group of jocks came up to them and started insulting him. Calling him things like "Geek, loser, nerd, dork, wimp, limp-dick.", you know, the classics that all bullies say. And how they couldn't believe that a hottie like Lindsay would bother spending time with him when they could be with "Real men" like them.
He remembered how Lindsay stood up for him, cussing out the bullies with a list of creative swears and insults that would make sailors blush. And how Cody was more of a man then any of them would ever be, in everyway that mattered. He didn't know where she ever learned such colorful language, but it was the hottest thing he'd ever seen.
Needless to say the bullies left them alone afterword, but not before calling Lindsay foul-mouthed little. He remembered how absolutely livid that made him, so much so that he beat the ever-loving shit out of the jerk who said it. Sure he nearly got expelled for it and his parents were not in the least bit happy with him when they first heard about it. But it was worth it, especially when Lindsay kissed him on the lips for the first time the next day. And his dad told him that he was proud of him for defending a lady's honor like a real man should when his mom wasn't around.
And of course he remembered the day, nearly a year ago during the start of their Freshmen year when Lindsay confessed her love for him and asked him if he wanted to be her boyfriend. He joked about how the guy was supposed to ask the girl before bringing her in for a passionate, love filled kiss.
It was the happiest day of his life.
"Are you done?" Lindsay asked.
"Almost." Cody answered, writing down one last thing.
'They island was completely clean and trash free.'
The air immediately lost it's unpleasant odor as every bit of trash and pollution on and around the island vanished as if it was never there to begin with.
'Much better.' he thought, nodding in satisfaction before closing the book and putting away his pen. "Okay, now I'm done." he said with a warm smile as he wrapped his arm around Lindsay's slim waist and brought her closer to him.
Lindsay all but melted into his embrace, a smile of utter contentment on her gorgeous face as she and the love of her life peacefully walked down the beach together.
What happens next?
1: Cody and Lindsay continue their walk, talking and flirting with one another until their eventually called to begin the very first challenge of the show.
2: A jealous Tyler watches the two from afar, unable to believe how a nerd like Cody managed to score a babe like Lindsay before he could.
3: We skip to later in the day, when the Screaming Gopher's win the first challenge and are enjoying their hottub party. And Cody's very much enjoying seeing Lindsay in her bikini.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
