Ash was walking around the woods between Lumious City and Cylage City for his second gym badge with Clemont, who he found was the Lumious gym leader, and his little sister Bonnie. They have a fourth companion for their journey, who Ash seemed to have a connection to, but he didn't remember even if she clearly remembered him. Ash was alone looking for sticks and wood to use for fire wood for their dinner and to keep warm before heading off to bed when it got dark. Ash asked as he followed Pikachu as he started digging near some roots as Ash kneeled down placing his firewood nearby to get a better look.

"Ash have you finished finding some firewood?" Serena asked as she ran as she held her red hat on her head as her red skirt fluttered from her running as her sleeveless top hugged her tits making them appear bigger as her black sneakers crunched some leaves as she neared seeing what Ash was looking at.
