After revealing to her teammates that she was a Faunus during her argument with Weiss, Blake ran off out of fear & anger. She eventually made it to the edge of the Emerald Forest where she spotted a bright light streaking across the sky, she watched as it crashed into the forest.

Her current dilemma was replaced with curiosity and she set out to investigate . As she got close enough, she realized that it was a meteor, it was glowing and shifting colors. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the meteor and hit Blake in the eyes. By the time her vision cleared, the meteor was gone.
