You are witness to an adventure battle: pack of wolves vs human hunters. You cannot believe that there are humans here, as you became some monster girl when you crossed over. “Crappy roll of the destiny dice— you couldn’t get a hero role or even a dirt farmer, you get a monster girl.”
You watch the battle from the trees. It seems that 6 wolves remained from an original 8 or 9 pack; none of the 5 humans had fallen yet, but that seemed to change soon. There was 1 archer in back on high ground and loosing arrows in irregular shots to break the tempo of the wolves. The wolves, which you realize are red furred and ginormous, dodge and regroup easily out of range. The other hunters are armed with melee weapons of short swords and a timber ax, but no shields. You also don’t see any staffs, so no healer or mages.
Watching from the background of the woods, you weighed on the choice of what to do. On one clawed hand, you could clobber the wolves. You came for food, and there are so many wolves, you consider the idea of skinning them for new pelt clothing for your female body. Also, you may trade favors for saving the hunters.
On the other muscular monster hand, you are not indebted to the human race anymore. They may turn out to attack you after you save them. If you let nature go ahead, their supplies and equipment could be picked up and salvaged by you. Plus, the wolves would still be there for another day to hunt.
You realize that the battle tide may change sooner than expected. From your perspective, a scrawny wolf has creeped out from the woods behind the archer and is about to pounce from the woods. You could throw a rock to kill or distract the wolf, but then both sides would sense your being in the edges of the forest. You decide to—
