On the road away from Melromarc, Naofumi ad his party consisting of Raphtalia, Filo, and Princess Melty Melromarc stopped by a nearby river to rest.
Naofumi left Raphtalia in charge while he went off into the forest to gather some herbs and other plants in order to craft more medicine.
The physically 18 year old Tanuki demihuman decided to catch some fish while Filo and Melty decided to cool their feet off in the river.
For a while, there was peaceful and lowkey boring silence, until she heard Melty giggling, getting Raphtalia;s attention and saw Filo tickling Melty's feet with her wings.
"Gehehehe F-Filo that tihihickles" Melty giggled but she didn't exactly pull her feet away
Raphtalia chuckled a bit at the sight. It reminded her of her parents doing that to her back before the wave devastated her village and the knights took her and her friends captive.
Against her will, the tanuki girl ended up trapped in her head as those horrid memories replayed in her head. Her days of slavery, the screams of Rifana.....the corpse of........why her?
Filo stopped when she saw that saddened look on Raphtalia's face and frowned. She didn't like seeing her big sister like that. But she quickly got an idea and whispered in Melty's ear who smiled and nodded.
The two kids snuck up on the demihuman before they pounced with Filo tickling her sides, making Raphtalia squeak before she squirmed and giggled in the smaller girls grasp
"F-hahahaha Filohohoho stahahap ihihit" The girl giggled helplessly but when Melty discovered her ears were surprisingly sensitive was when she couldn't help but break down laughing
"GAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NOHOHOH MELTY STAHAHAHAHAP HAHAHA PLEHEHEHASE" Raphtalia begged as she fell on her back, her fishing rod abandoned
"No. Not until you stop frowning." Filo said childishly.
"I must agree. You look better with that smile." Melty said
Raphtalia squealed helplessly as she tried to defend her poor ears but when she did, it opened up her armpits which Filo took advantage of, making the tanuki girl squeal and clam her arms together as she squealed loudly.
"Hehe, watch this~" Filo snickered as she lifted Raphtalia clothing a bit and blew a raspberry on her belly
"KYAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAP IT HAHAHAHA NAHAHAT THAHAHAHAT" Raphtalia cackled loudly. Despite being physically older, she was mentally and chronologically no older then 10. And every kid was weak to raspberries and Raphtalia was no exception.
But despite her pleads, she didn't exactly try to escape. Being tickled like this reminded her of her times being tickled by Rifana and Keel and even her parents. Honestly, she felt happy right now. She had forgotten how she had enjoyed being tickled back then.
Eventually the two kids stopped while Raphtalia caught her breath and wiped away tears of only slightly forced mirth.
"Feel better?" Filo asked gently
Raphtalia soon understood why the kids did that. They must've seen how she was caught in her head. Tho the fact that Melty joined in was surprising.
The tanuki girl smiled "Yea, thank you."
But that soft smile soon turned mischievous. Hey, despite her older appearance she was technically still just a kid and she grabbed Melty and Filo and tickled the two, leaving them helpless with laughter.
Filo squirmed like a worm as Raphtalia got her belly while Melty covered her mouth giggling hysterically as her sides were squeezed.
"Now I'm feeling much better." Raphtalia smirked playfully
"Oh nohohoho you dohohon't." Filo giggled as she fought through her laughter and tickled Raphtalia's sides but the tanuki girl openly laughed and didn't fight it nor did she stop tickling Filo.
Melty would've trued to help Filo but a few fingers on her feet stopped the princess as sadly, her tiny feet were her tickle spot so Melty was helpless with laughter.
Soon Raphtalia stopped and let the kids breathe for a bit before the three smiled before Filo and melty tackled Raphtalia on her back tickling her but the older tanuki tickled them back while they tickled her, leaving all three girls in an adorably laughing pile.
A while later, Naofumi came back with the herbs he needed only to see the three girls napping together with tickle induced smiles.
All Naofumi had to say was..."What happened while I was gone?"
