It was supposed to be like any other day. You were just having a good time enjoying the great outdoors in the nearby park of Metropolis without having to think about responsibilities like School. It was just so perfect to you that you didn’t want anything else to happen to ruin it. You were free, happy, and ready for whatever fun activity came next.
Too bad what happened next was going to ruin your day.
It began like this: you were playing frisbee with yourself and each time your throws were improving by a lot. The blue disc kept flying higher and further away from you and you thought it was pretty cool. Luckily the frisbee kept landing in some bushes so you were able to get it back from a good spot. You took a deep breath when you aimed your frisbee, and tossed it out to the air, but suddenly it hit something flying close by. At first glance, it looked like another frisbee, but this one happened to remain flying and had a sort of glass dome on top of it.
No wait, that’s not a frisbee. That’s a UFO! “Woah…” was all you could say as you watched it wobble as if trying to gain control of itself. It didn’t seem like it was damaged from your frisbee throw so you thought you were in the clear, until they started to fly towards you.
“Uh…hi?” You almost waved out to the UFO but it didn’t seem like the passengers inside were in the mood for talking. “Um…sorry for hitting your ship?” You quickly say, thinking that would work and they wouldn’t do anything to harm you. Unfortunately the ship pulled out a small ray and you had no time to think or even panicked when it fired point blank at your chest.
“WHAT…is…happening!?” You shouted as everything got bigger and bigger. Soon the grass around you was reaching past your knees, the bushes were the height of buildings and the ground seemed to stretch for miles. “Oh no, I’ve shrunk! Why did you do this?!” You shouted to the UFO as it kept hovering above you until it decided to leave. It flew off to the blue sky and left you all alone.
“Come back! Grow me back!” Your screams weren’t any helpful to your situation. You were so small that you started to worry about what would happen if any insects decided to come after you, maybe some ants who wanted payback for you shining a magnifying glass at them a few times? You were really worried, but then you got more worried when you heard some footsteps approaching your spot.
You fell on your side and looked up in fear as a gigantic girl approached you. This must’ve what Jack felt like when he snuck in the giant’s castle in the Beanstalk story because you were shaking in your sneakers as you saw the giant face of ____ staring down at you curiously.
