If he was going to possess the Flower Division and drive away Seijuro's interest in them, then the obvious first choice for who to possess would be his childhood friend: Sakura! Romance was bound to sprout from the two of them unless Reiji stepped in! He just couldn't allow for the two to have a workplace romance! It was unethical.
Deciding to do the completely and totally ethical thing of possessing his co-worker, Reiji inputting Sakura into the machine, inputted a possession time limit of 5 minutes and let it work its magic.
Not wanting to be stuck as Sakura for any longer than it would take to tell Seijuro that she never wanted to date him and to get lost, Reiji had set the possession to only last a few minutes. If he needed more time he could just possess her again but with a longer timer.
Feeling his world shift around, Reiji's point of view quickly shifted from one viewing the cold and metallic theater workshop to a warm bedroom adorned with posters and memorabilia of the old Flower Division. Shaking his head, he quickly realized that the possession had indeed worked as long brown hair entered his point of view.
Looking down, Reiji's eyes were met with the very feminine body of Sakura Amamiya, clad in her usual kimono. "Ha! It worked!" He shouted in success. Running over to Sakura's mirror, he needed to take at least a little while to stare and confirm that he was indeed in Sakura's body. Staring at her reflection for longer than he realized, he couldn't believe that this crazy invention of his actually worked. "Seijuro is going down!" He gleefully said in Sakura's voice.
Walking toward Sakura's door, Reiji opened it and....fell face first into the hallway. His leg had gotten caught in Sakura's kimono and he ended up tripping. As he tried to pick himself up again his hands got caught in the sleeves of the kimono and he once again slipped toward the ground.
After a few more attempts, the now angry mechanic successfully stood up again "Grrr, I hate kimonos! If I ever wear another one again it'll be too soon!" With his anger expressed, Reiji took another step to Seijuro's room but before he could make it there his vision once again began to shift.
Once back in the workshop, Reiji blinked a few times. Had his staring in the mirror and struggle with the kimono really taken up all 5 minutes of his time? Despite his shock, he didn't worry as he could simply possess Sakura again and pick up where he left off.
Before he could input Sakura in the machine again however, Reiji heard something from upstairs "GIVE ME YOUR CLOTHES!" what was clearly the voice of Sakura screamed.
Curious as to what could set her off so quickly, Reiji quickly made his way upstairs where he saw Sakura grabbing and pulling at Claris' shirt and skirt.
"Sakura, what's gotten into you?!" Claris shrieked as she tried to pull her own clothes toward her body.
"I can't stand this stupid kimono! I need to wear some real clothes!" Sakura responded, anger rising as she mentioned her kimono.
"I can't just give you my clothes here in the hallway!" Claris cried back.
That seemed to get through to Sakura "You're right, I'm so sorry Claris I don't know what came over me." She apologized for grabbing her friend before looking down at her kimono again "But I can't wear this thing for another second!" And then to Claris' shock Sakura began to tear apart her kimono directly in front of her. Leaving nothing but colorful cloth on the floor.
Reiji's jaw nearly hit the ground, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Somehow him expressing his hatred for kimonos had changed how Sakura herself acted when he left her body. It was less like he took over Sakura and more like he actually became her and influenced her behavior.
This needed to be studied. Heading back to the workshop he prepared the machine again for another possession. That way he saw things there were three ways he could test how it works right now. Possess one person and keep making small changes to see how they would change, possess the girls one at a time and see if the changes vary in each of them, or just focus in fixing Sakura for now.
With that in mind, Reiji chose to..  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
