As Seijuro pondered on which 'lucky' girl would first go down in history as Reiji's first mega fan, the phrase 'go big or go home' rang in his head. If he was going to blow Claris' mind and win this bet, he would need to make Reiji seem irresistible to anyone. To that effect, the woman Seijuro would possess would be the most irresistible one he knew: Elise of the Berlin Division.
In the few months Elise had been in Tokyo for the World Revue Games, she had unknowingly become an idol among the citizens. She had it all: gorgeous looks, the brains of a tactician, and a voice that would send chills down anyone's spine. Seijuro himself had attempted to flirt with her once or twice in the past, but those situations often ended with her reprimanding him for behavior unfitting of a captain.
As Seijuro activated the machine to be transfered into her body, he truly wished the bet was about getting himself a girlfriend instead of Reiji...but regardless, she was the perfect choice!
As Seijuro's soul left his body, his entire worldview began to swirl. His eyes went from viewing the attic of the theater, to a swirled reality that looked like puke, to what appeared to be the tea and cake shop downtown with Margarethe directly in front of him.
Margarethe was staring directly at her Smarttron, despite that she seemed to be in the middle of conversation with Elise. "So Elise, which of those strategies would be best for overcoming Captain Kamiyama next time he challenges us?"
Seijuro spent a few seconds wondering if he should give a nom-commited answer like 'the first one', but then he figured that he should get into character as a Reiji lover now so he'd be prepared when he gets to the theater. Plus, this would be a fun way to get one over on Margarethe.
Standing up, Seijuro put a hand to his borrowed chest and began loudly boast "I have no time to worry about trivial matters like combat revues and the city! It's time that I focused on something much more important, my love life!"
As Margarethe spit out her tea on the table, Seijuro made a mad dash out of the tea and cake shop and toward the theater before she could say anything.
As a very strange feeling jog to the theater, Seijuro found Reiji still standing around the lobby, which meant that Claris was likely still around and watching from the shadows as well...time to make an entrance.
"My love, I have arrived!" Seijuro put so much joy into Elise's voice that one could almost not recognize it was even her voice! Dashing into the theater, Seijuro immediately put his arms around Reiji shoulders and drew him close. Hearing a thud in the distance, Seijuro knew that Claris must have done a prat fall in response.
"E-E-E-E-ELISE?!" Reiji shouted in shock, unable to even form a sentence with Elise directly in front of his face and hanging on him.
Seijuro snickered internally, this bet was in the bag. Time to seal the deal. "Oh yes! I've come to realized just how much of a heartthrob you truly are, Reiji!" Seijuro said in the best sing-song voice he could muster. "You're work on the Mugens is absolutely stellar, and I just love a man unafraid to walk around covered in oil..." Seijuro tapped Elise's fingers on Reiji's jumpsuit, trying to hide that the oil was making him want to puke.
As Reiji looked like he was going to turn into a pile of goop, Seijuro backed away. The new version of Mr. Swapper was built with a failsafe option: a time limit. Seijuro would only have to spend the amount of time he set in each girl's body, allowing for a quick exit like...this!
The moment Seijuro left Elise's body, the captain of the Berlin Division became very confused, how on earth did she end up at the Great Imperial Theater?
Before Elise could even process what was going on, Reiji himself finally mustered up the courage to say "I accept your love!" And attempt to hug the woman...only to be met with a swift kick to the stomach as Elise shouted "Get away from me!"
From behind a pillar, Claris' utter shock turned into confusion. Elise seemed to be utterly in love with Reiji mere moment ago, what happened?! Could some outside force have spoiled their pure love. "I won't stand for love being tainted." Claris muttered as she pulled as her spellbook, determined to save this relationship.
Luckily she had just the spell, one that was created with the sole purpose of reigniting old relationships like they were still in the honeymoon phase!
As Elise picked up a call on her Smarttron from Margarethe, Claris began to chant the incantation "Go back to the feelings you had moments ago!"
"Yes Margarethe, I'm just...." Elise began to say she was on her way back to Margarethe before Claris' spell suddenly hit her "Quitting the Berlin Revue! I couldn't stand to be an ocean away from my Reiji!" She said with hearts in her eyes "From now on, I'm forming the Reiji Combat Revue here in Tokyo!"
As Elise cut off all non-Reiji ties in her life, Claris smiled, happy to help love bloom. Meanwhile in the theater attic, Seijuro stood by Mr. Swapper, not knowing that he had an indirect hand in creating the first member of Reiji's own Revue.
Wanting to win this bet to such a high degree that Claris would have to write an entire subplot of 'Seijuro the knight', he quickly entered the name of the next person to fall head-over-heels for Reiji
