10x bigger every decade, causing large and abru...

I have two ideas for this:

Option 1: Perils of Highschool
It took 10 years for the world to get used to giants of several dozen feet in height. However, when children with even more aggressive growth rates were observed, people quickly realized that school buildings across the world will soon need round another renovation. This was almost 18 years ago, and now Jessica was walking the hallway of her highschool, at 17 years old she was a gorgeous brunette standing at almost 40 feet tall, a relatively average height for girls her age. Beautiful and popular she was the queen bee in her year, and would have been the queen bee of the entire school if she was born just a year later. See, it was difficult to be the prettiest when you were dodging the sneakers of girls almost 10 times your size.

Option 2: A world more and more unequal
While it was quickly observed that subsequent generations were growing much much bigger than their predecessors. It was also becoming apparent that it wasn't equal among individiuals. Each generation, the disparity grew. In the first one the difference was that you were 50 feet or 60 feet, then in the next it was 400 feet or 800 feet, then by the time of writing the difference was between 5000 feet and 20000 feet. Most people were on the lower end of the spectrum, with only a handful of kids growing to the higher end, between them an enormous gap of height. Now, at the end of the decade the next generation is born, and a particular girl is about to take home the title of tallest girl of the planet.
