Kaoru Mochizuki often wondered what it would be like to step into the ring like many of her idols growing up. Aside from farming her only other love in life was professional wrestling and she could watch the various men and women compete for hours.
What initially drew her interest outside from the in-ring action was the sheer spectacle of it all. The colorful costumes, the creative entrances, the outlandish storylines, the roar of the crowd. It was unlike anything she'd ever seen, and it was beautiful.
She could remember the days when she was smaller and would try wrestling her older brother Soun who more often than not let her win just to see her smile. Although he probably does regret that one day he let her it him with an elbow drop from the bed.
She was a big girl even when she was younger but not so big that she couldn't fit into an arena if she wanted to. Nowadays she was too big for that but still had that itch from the days when she was still small. She loved farming but she really wanted to wrestle.
It was an outlandish dream given the circumstances, but she at least wanted to be able to say she tried. She saved up as much money as she could and with her parent's blessing signed up for pro wrestling classes in the next town over.
Needless to say, everyone in attendance was shocked that the world's largest woman wanted to learn how to wrestle. Just how on earth were they supposed to wrestle her? She was a literal giant that could crush anyone she was competing against.
In all honesty she was perfect for the world of pro wrestling as it was all about spectacle and creating memorable moments. The only downside was she was way too large to fit in the building and hat to attend class outside.
It also didn't take news crews long to find that the world's largest woman was attending wrestling classes. At least the school she was attending would get a lot of publicity and maybe some more new applicants since it was actually the cheapest wrestling school in town.
Kaoru's first sparring partner was a petite girl named Usagi, and she actually looked frightened half to death standing across from her. The sensei's set up a couple of mats outside to use as a makeshift ring without any ropes and the goal was for Usagi to simply survive.
When the Sensei Kai said the bout could begin, Usagi actually fainted on the spot. Seeing that her opponent was down, Kaoru gently placed a finger over her unconscious body while Sensei Kai counted the pin. It was over in seconds and everyone else refused to train with her.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and soon came Kaoru's first real match. She'd successfully graduated from wrestling school and was now ready to take on the local scene. Her parents and brother were going to be in attendance, and she felt excited.
The match was held outside in a school parking lot with about fifty chairs for people to sit in. Kaoru's wrestling gear was specially made by a company who didn't charge her a dime so long as she wore their logo on her gear for matches to get their name out there.
The giantess agreed and wore shiny black boots, trunks, and top to the ring. Her hands were also taped. She was ready to rumble and while she was too big for the ring, she would be accommodated by not being susceptible to the referee's count out.
Her opponent was a masked wrestler bathed in pink named Lethal Sakura. Unlike her sparring partners this woman wasn't afraid and staired her down with zero fear present on her face. This was it. She was finally going to live out her dreams.
The refree rung the bell and the bout officially begun.
