All right, the silent siren herself. How does Cassandra Cain end up Shortstacked.
The Penguin thinks Small: Oswald Cobblepot is a short man, it is often that he is depicted as having a napolean concept because of it, eventually, fed up with the world looking down on him, he decides to hire an amoral scientist that will make him something (a ray gun, some kind of transforming booth, a drug/virus?) that he can use to make women even shorter than him.
Yes, just women, no he's not being sexist, he's being practical: if the machine can work on men, odds are it'll end up being used on him, so he's compromising, at least he can look down on women. The scientist decides that he will be sexist and he solves the conservation of mass issue by transforming the excess mass into blubber (looks like fat, acts like fat but can't be burned) and distributes it around the body, but concentrated on the breasts, buttocks and hips.
Thinking small, Oswald had simply planned to use his new toy on the women who work at the iceberg lounge, except that when the scientist presented Oswald with his new weapon, the Black Bat interupts them and Oswald ends up using it on her. This gives him the idea to use it on the various female heroes, and indeed his rival villains, such as Quinn.
Meanwhile Cass wakes up half her original height, with boobs bigger than Power Girl's suddenly must confront certain questions; can she adjust to her new body, can she still fight or is her shortened frame and plush curves, is she no longer able to fight? Is there a way to restore her to her old body, or will she be stuck in her new form? If there is a way to fix her, is it dependent on the thing Cobblepot used on her, and if it is, when Cass discovers that Cobblepot plans to use it on other girls, including her friends like Steph, will Cass be able to sacrifice any chance of returning to how she was and destroy Penguin's toy to save them?
The Wish: Cassandra Cain lives in two worlds that leave her being somewhat self concious about her small bust; as Black Bat she is a part of the superhero community, where big boobs are jokingly referred to as the most common superpower there is and as Cassandra Wayne she is stuck around socialites where breast implants are the most popular 18th birthday present.
One night she ends up looking up at the night sky after a encounter with the sirens, whose outfits all flaunt their own large boosoms, Cass ends up wishing on a star that she had bigger boobs. The next morning she wakes up to find herself with far bigger boobs than she would ever have wanted, and when she gets up she discovers that, as a tradeoff she has lost more than 2 feet in height.
Can she discover exactly who granted her wish, and if she does, will they give her height back, and perhaps let her keep at least some of the boost to her boobs, or is she stuck in her new form, and how will she adjust to it?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
