The movie you'll be in will be loosely based on the animated series "The Legend of Vox Machina." The word loosely is used here because the show runner is taking some artistic license with the characters. For example, you'll be playing the role of Grog Strongjaw. But with you playing Grog, the character is going to be a full blown giant.

Margot is going to be playing the role of Vex'ahlia, However, what interests tou is who they're going to be casting in the role of Pike Trickfoot. Pike is the character your character will be interacting with the most. It should be interesting because the studio has a device that will shrink the actress playing Pike to the height of two and a half feet for the duration of the movie. It's some weird quantum device that you have no idea how it works, but is fairly expensive to use. So whoever takes the part of Pike is going to have to endure being more than half their normal size for the duration of the filming.

The quantum device also only works on humans without a Y chromosome, so there's discussion about either making the character of Scanlan Shorthalt a woman, or making Scanlan a species other than a gnome.

Obviously, all these reimaginations of roles and casting decisions have all the fanboys in an uproar, but that's not your problem. You're just happy with a speaking part!
