Jason eyed the cannoli, he didn't want to eat it, but also it looked really good. Not to mention he also did not to be rude and turn down a gift from such a nice old man. He felt full but he was sure that he could make room for it. Jason glanced over to Toshi who was already gleefully eating his cannoli, Toshi knew how to put away food.
Jason grabbed the cannoli as he examined it again. Oh man he shouldn't but it looked so good. Jason never got to treat himself like this before. He bite into the cannoli as he tasted the creamy sweet goodness of it. It was delicious. To hell with being full he wanted to finish this sweet treat. sure it took him longer to eat giving short pauses to let the pain subside of being full and catching his breath but he was going to finish it.
Toshi finished his cannoli as he saw that Jason was still in the process of eating. "Delicious aren't they? Oh man best thing coming to Antonio's is the cannoli's. I could eat those all day. Though I'm sure they'd have to roll me out of the restaurant after a month." Toshi laughed.
After a couple of more minutes Jason was able to finish the cannoli and let out a burp. Painfully full. He didn't want to move, just rest and digest. Jason groaned. He couldn't believe he ate that entire cannoli.
Toshi chuckled. "Seems like you bitten off more than you can chew, but that's alright we've all been there though we should get back on patrol." Toshi said as he stood up. He gave his large belly a shake. He also helped Jason up as he guided him back to the car. After thanking for Antonio for the meal the two officers head ed back to the patrol car. Jason immediately fell into the back of his seat. "Oh man I overdid it today. I don't wanna move."
Toshi laughed. "First time at Antonio's will do that to you, I'm surprised you've never been here with you being a local and all." Toshi said.
"Yeah well my family never went out to restaurant when I was growing up. Mom and Dad preferred home cooked meals and they hated crowds. Ugh man that was some good food though. You ate way much more than me, how are you still kicking?" Jason asked him.
Toshi laughed. "I'm bigger than you and I have loads of practice. Stick with me and I'll show you all the best places here to eat in Pancione and you'll have the stomach for it! Now let's get back on patrol, I'm sure the ride will help you digest." Toshi turned on the car as they pulled back into the road continuing their patrol for the day while Jason relaxed and digested his huge meal.
