Though the lower level certainly seemed intriguing, you were already taking a huge risk by being here at all. Why take the scarier path?
Jumping from the rafters, you quickly flutter up the staircase. Landing on the floor at the top, you take in the sprawling hallway ahead of you. Though the Inn only held a small handful of rooms on either side, to someone your size the structure seemed miles long.
Walking over to the first room on the left, you find the door left slightly ajar. Peering inside, you see a slender witch wearing a stern expression sitting at a small desk in the corner. Despite her ashen grey hair she appears to be in her 40's, though with magic users it was always harder to tell. She seemed bored, idly flipping through a book with her left hand while practicing a variety of minor spells with her right.
On your right, you find the other door tightly shut but with a great commotion going on behind it. Slipping under the door, you find two stout dwarven women, one lighter skinned and one darker skinned, grappling playfully before collapsing on their bed in a fit of laughter. Though it was hard to tell what exactly their relationship was, these two were obviously very close...
