It was the first week of October. The weather had already began to change and the smell of all the plants were more pungent than usual. The harvest was going to be a good one this quarter with how things were looking in the grow.
You work in production, where you make the final goods that are to be shipped. Vape cartridges and disposable pens, distillate syringes, patches, tinctures, various concentrates. If it wasn't cooked into an edible, that's what your department did with the cannabis product. Today, unfortunately, you were down a person on your crew. Looking at what you had for a schedule that day, you deemed it completely doable with the people who DID decide to show up for that shift.
The morning flew by with your first break coming and going. Your shift manager assured you that he was working on getting "some more bodies" in to help. You thanked him for his support, but insisted he focus on other lines in a similar boat given their comparative workload.
As if on cue, a group of 3 were instructed into our room with one in particular standing out the most. She stood a solid 5'7 and though you couldn't say exactly, you guessed her to be about 330lbs. Her belly pressed against her lab coat even with the extra material. Her black hair was pulled up to accommodate the use of a hair net and booties covered her shoes. Outside of protective wear she wore a black shirt and a pair of jeans. As did most of the people in the facility.
She by no means tried to impress anyone with her appearance, but you just couldn't help yourself. She was gorgeous in your eyes. A tower of curves and an air of confidence. If she had any uncertainties, it was probably about being in a new environment.
As your manager got up to greet them, you cursed yourself for your earlier comment, hoping he can send her your way. No one knew of your preference for larger, more robust women, and having her in the room may bring that fact to light. After directing the first two, he turns to the mystery girl and...
