Grrrrrrrrrrwwwllll
Mike put his hand to his massive middle in a vain attempt to calm it down. It wasn't even past first period and it already was asking for food. He would be snacking at this point, but the teacher, who was told about his condition and then elected to ignore it, caught him trying to do so and told him he couldn't eat in class.
It was ridiculous! Back in his elementary school his teachers wouldn't bat an eye when he dug into a bag chips or what ever, so long as he was quiet. He couldn't even make the motion to try as the teacher had expected their students to stay focused at all times, which would be difficult to do so considering the noticeably loud growls coming from Mike's stomach.
Thankfully, just before it got bad and loud enough the bell to start heading to next period rang. Squeezing himself out as best he could from the tight seating position, Mike headed out of class. The teacher tried to call out for him, but he promptly ignored them and kept going, the other kids making room for him in the hallway to let him slip through while the teacher was stopped by the tide of children going by and into their classroom.
Thankfully Mike's 2nd period class was on the same floor as his 1st period class. He'd hate to walk up the stairs this early without food.
Entering the classroom, he saw that the "chairs" used were benches, which caused him to sigh a bit in relief as he headed up to the front of the class to see the seating arrangements which had him in the back, which was doubly nice, even if it was with someone else.
Taking his seat, Mike dug into one of the many bags of snack foods he had in his backpack. He had a separate backpack for his books, at least he thought he was getting books but the school couldn't afford to have kids take the books home, so that was a bit of a boon.
"Oi, Mike! There you are! You're big as ever!" Mike heard a voice beside him, snapping him out of his snacking.
"Oh, hey José." Mike said, as he turned his head to look. José was a Hispanic kid with brown-ish hair and blue eyes, but was pretty thin and contrasted with Mike's wide body. "At least we're in a class together, huh?" Mike said as José walked closer to him.
"Yea, man it was weird not seeing your big butt in class. Unnerving even." José said, while getting closer to Mike, "How was your first class?" he asked.
"Horrible, teacher wouldn't allow me to eat in class. And you know how loud my stomach gets..." Mike said, while José facepalmed. "Aye yai yai.... Didn't your parents tell them that you need to eat often?" José said, while Mike shrugged. "They should of. I guess they don't care and are really strict about it. I didn't want to cause trouble on the first day so I didn't say anything."
"You should tell your parents 'bout that when ya get home. Sure our past teachers have teased you about it, but... wait, how old were they?" José asked, with a hint of confusion at the end. Mike shrugged again, "Not that old, probably. At least they didn't look old..." He said, shaking his head a bit.
"Well my thought is that you mostly got pestered by the older teachers, right? Wouldn't be a surprise..." José said, before the bell to signal the start of 2nd period rang, causing José to be startled a bit before heading towards his seat. Ignoring both the teacher and the kid who sat next to him, Mike continued to graze on his snacks.
