Chapter #7

A large city near one of Grahm's hooves.

A large city, one of impressive size by micro standards, was hidden within the patch of grass. Buildings and streets were built around bases of the monolithic blades of grass that towered above. The massive population of human micros had hoped they would be safe from the titanic feeding equine, simply praying that he'd leave... Word had already spread that at least one city had been destroyed, unceremoniously blown away from just the godly horse snorting. There would be little they could do if he moved toward them...

To Grahm, nothing was amiss. He was just enjoying his time, simply feeding, all while never once realizing what sort of carnage he was causing. Each day the huge horse, along with all the other farm animals, would end up accidentally crushing small, unimportant micro towns, settlements or tiny shelters upon the farm lands. But this was no tiny settlement. This city, though still relatively insignificant, was densely populated and crowded. The gray buildings and concrete ground would go unnoticed to the colossal Clydesdale as he simply ate the grass that happened to be shielding them. He didn't spare the odd, worthless, gray 'dirt' a second thought. He just took one, simple step forward with one of his front hooves. A basic action that was about to doom a massive portion of that heavily lived in city...

The tiny citizens of the city were thrown into an utter panic as the hoof neared. They were lucky enough not to be blown away like the last city as the horse chewed away the protective grass overhead, but it seemed their luck only went so far. Those nearest the hoof naturally had the worst sight as the immense mass swung overhead. The hoof's underside was now directly above much of the city, giving all that dared to gaze up an ungodly view of the looming sole.

The underside of the hoof was clearly filthy from walking across the farm grounds. Dirt caked the bottom of the hoof, but that wasn't the only substance upon the gigantic sole. A brownish-green layer of waste was clearly stuck to a portion of the hoof as well, most likely from a mound of shit that the great horse had unintentionally trod upon when walking toward the large grass patch. Giant boulders of dirt and waste fell down to the ground like meteors. Every solid chunk of hoof muck tore through the metal and concrete structures as easily as a thrown rock flies through tissue paper, simply zero resistance. All this felt as if it were in slow motion for the poor micros, all as the hoof itself came crashing down.

It was as if the very sky was descending upon that section of city. As the hoof came down, it would begin to crush and bend whatever was left of the bitten blades of grass. Those under the hoof could only watch as the once proud, green pillars were now being so casually flattened. The hoof would not stop there, still lowering more and more before finally coming in contact with the city itself. The few tall buildings still standing were the first to crumble under the unrelenting weight of the hoof above. They'd soon be followed by other, smaller buildings and structures, snuffing out every human within them. Then, finally, the powerful hoof slammed down as it came in contact with the 'dirt' floor. Grahm's mountainous hoof pulverized anything below it as it fell, and further compacted the ground as the godly stallion applied further weight... An entire section of the once lively city had lost more than half its population thanks to a single step from a hungry horse.

But that wasn't the end. The displaced air that came from the step still had to be endured by the survivors. A powerful gust of air blew throughout the rest of the city. Those closest to the impact were blown away as if carried off by a hurricane and had no chance to survive as they violently crashed elsewhere. Even cars and other vehicles were lifted into the air, only to land somewhere else in the city with destructive force. Any far enough to not be slammed by the deadly wave of air still had to contend with the sight before them...

It was somewhat awe inspiring to see that colossal hoof standing upon their city. It stood higher than any mountain the micros had ever seen. The feathering, the long white hair on the lower legs of the stallion, covered much of the hoof itself, and was nearly long enough to touch the ground. A somewhat majestic sight, only to be ruined by the heavy, earthy stink of farm dirt and animal feces that came from beneath the sole, a stench the rest of the city would have to put up with, even if they were to survive.

Speaking of survival, what would happen with the rest of the tiny city?

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. The rest of the city is somehow crushed by another slight movement.

*Pen*
2. The rest of the city is spared.

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
