You frantically search high and low for your bag, but it's truly nowhere to be found. You finally give up, desperate to leave before the team comes in to change. You spend a few more minutes doing your best to dry your shorts before finally poking your head outside. You knew there was no hope of being picked up. Your mom was out of town for a couple days and you and your sister were planning on walking home together.
With the coast clear, you make a quick pace for the road, still dressed in you little sister's pee-soaked uniform. you duck behind a bush, near where you're supposed to meet her. With no sign of anyone nearby you decide to text her, hoping she's nearby and can give you you gym clothes.
"Hey where r u? Need those clothes to walk home."
Her reply can only moments later. "A older guy on ur team gave my friends a ride." You starred blankly at the screen in disbelief. You'd have to walk the entire way home in these clothes.
Eager to get the walk of shame over with, you quickly set out. Thanks to your rush job, much of you wasn't quite dry yet. Your nostrils were used to the smell by now, by the temperature began to drop with the sunset, the walk became more and more unbearable. Witheach step your uncertainty whether you would make it home safely grew.
