Melona struck several poses in the mirror, but was bothered by her mismatching shoes. She had nothing that matched the dress, nor could she afford to buy anything that would. She sighed. Maybe she shouldn't buy this after all. She didn't want to make a fool of herself and make it obvious how poor she was. It was a shame, since the dress was such a great find, but she only had so much money to find an outfit.
Just then, a strange light surrounded Melona's boots. Her body rose as the heels of the shoes began to rise, thinning and sharpening. The cuff of the boots slid down her leg until it was just below her knees, and the material changed from brown to white, the same color as her gloves. The light dissipated, leaving behind a pair of stylish heeled boots, which perfectly matched her dress. Melona gazed at her newly transformed shoes, and...
