"Mel?" Drif asked, a touch of concern in her voice. "Are you alright...?"
"Ehehe..."
"...Mel...?"
"Ahaha!" Drif jumped in surprise as Melona suddenly whipped around towards her, a bright smile plastered on her face. "Oh my gosh, I feel so much better now! Thank you, girlfriend!" She wrapped Drif in a tight hug, before turning back to her cauldron. "Now let's see... Health potion..."
Drif blinked in surprise. Melona was acting like Professor Chantess, their airheaded bimbo of a charmcasting teacher. But all the potion was supposed to do was increase confidence and stimulate mana.
"Done!" Melona smiled, a satisfying puff of smoke coming from her cauldron. Drif looked at it wide-eyed, it looked perfect.
"How did you do that???"
"Oh, I just, you know," Melona said, absentmindedly tapping her chin, "Um, I just kinda did it?"
