It had been five years since Kaito had fought in the most recent war on record. Kaito, who was now visibly affected by the consequences of the war, would have to live again with those he had lived with for so many years, fighting to the death: the giants.
The war that Kaito fought for so long was undoubtedly the one that broke the biggest taboo used in combat since nuclear weapons. Giants, who have been present since the beginning of the history of human wars, were, for a long time, the strongest weapons of nations all over the world.
Fighting countless times with giants tens, hundreds or even thousands of meters long, being just an ordinary soldier, was like wishing for death, a death that could be slow and quite painful. And for some reason, perhaps by luck, Kaito had managed to survive until then, even though he was a front-line soldier who constantly came face to face with death every day.
Now discharged, Kaito could finally return home, rest in his old bed and see his family, consisting of his mother and his six sisters, all of whom were giants, and who followed a strange peculiarity: from the matriarch of the family to the youngest sister, they all followed an order of magnitude greater than the previous one.
He was afraid to meet his large family again, for obvious reasons and also because of how big each of them would be after so long without seeing them, after all, who could guarantee that they hadn't become even more titanic? Especially their younger sisters, who had always been big, even by giant standards.
Just the thought of that slight possibility sent a chill down his spine. Perhaps it was better just to accept it and be at the mercy of luck.
Finally, it was time to meet his mother and sisters again after going through the hell of war. Kaito was anxious, and scared to say the least. At first, his house didn't seem any different, even though he felt that something was wrong with it, and he hoped that this feeling was just a delusion in his mind and that his family was fine, and maybe they had stopped growing, at least that's what he wanted with all his might.
So he finally took the initiative and rang the company of his old house, hoping that some member of his family would open it and welcome him back after so long, perhaps his mother or older sisters would greet him? Who knows?
It was only a matter of time before the creak of that old door was heard, signifying that someone was opening it, and when it was finally opened, Kaito was faced with something his eyes couldn't believe.
