Finally, they pulled apart, Selena beaming at Mari. "Ah, I was hoping you'd be here. You look great, by the way."
"Thanks." Mari smiled warmly. "You too." She added, in reference to Selena's crop-top and short-shorts that really highlighted her firm abs and long legs. "Here to spend the day with me?"
"If you'd have me. This expo would be pretty boring, otherwise." Selena laughed. "All this pro-tiny stuff goes over my head."
"You don't find it fun?" Ashley piped up, staring in wide-eyed awe at the Small Wonders exhibits all around her. "Like, I'm, like, super jazzed and stuff to visit every single cutie exhibit! Don't they look, like, uber fun and stuff?"
Selena shrugged. "If you're into this sort of stuff. Honestly, I'm surprised to see so many regular girls here. Figured this whole thing would be more up the alley of tinies. But, hey, my mom's gonna make bank today, and I get to tour around with this beautiful babe..." Selena playfully booty bumped Mari, causing your girlfriend to stumble, laugh, and slightly blush. "...so it isn't all bad!"
Jenna laughed. "Yeah, I think we'll find a way to make today pretty damn entertaining. Piper and I have got some plans for ways to pass the time." Jenna's eyes locked onto the sight of your squished form on Mari's chest, and she stifled a laugh. Piper didn't even bother, howling with glee, but none of the other unaffected recognized just what had tickled her funny bone.
Before the conversation could continue, a new voice spoke up. "Looking for a place to start first, ladies?"
The gathered group turned to find themselves staring a stunningly gorgeous redhead. The girl, who looked to be in her mid-twenties, was as toned and firmly muscular as Selena, and as curvaceous as Mari, making her a true jaw-dropping visage. Her tanned skin radiated with a golden glow, and her pretty freckled face was framed by some messy and fiery-bright red hair tied back in a ponytail. She was dressed similar to Mari with a sports bra and compression shorts, but she also had an unbuttoned lab coat on.
The new girl grinned happily. "Sup? The name's Tina, and I'm one of the employees at Small Wonders."
Mari (who, admittedly, had stared a moment longer than was kosher at the woman's body) managed a smile. "That's a nice name. Forgive me, but you don't really look like how I imagined the scientists at this expo would."
Tina chuckled. "Oh, trust me, there's some real cliché-looking ladies here, if that's your thing. I could show you to Sophie's table, where she's working on some pretty mind-blowing stuff. Or even Rebecca's got some nifty things to demonstrate. But nah, I'm primarily a tester, not a researcher. I don't know shit about numbers and sciency doo-dads, but I do know how to use my pretty face to bring in new customers and make them feel at home! And, okay, I guess I know a little about science stuff, since a Bachelor's was required to apply to Small Wonders. Still, don't ask me too many questions, I promise I won't know the answer to most of them!"
Your gathered group took a moment to take in Tina's speech. The girl talked fast, and much more informally than you would've expected from a science company employee, but she was clearly passionate and fun-loving, so it was hard not to find her energy infectious. Even you, still flattened to your girlfriend's breast, was feeling a little bit of invigoration come back...but then Tina spoke again, and your good mood plummeted.
"Say, you two." Tina flicked her gaze between Mari and Selena. "You've gotta tell me your workout routine, because you two hotties are something else, if you don't mind me saying. Like, seriously, you two make a hella good power couple. I'm jealous!"
Mari smiled. "Aw, thanks!" Beside her, Selena stiffened in surprise, but quickly flashed her own smile at Tina. Then another second passed, and Mari blinked, her eyes widening in surprise. "O-Or wait, n-no, no. Sorry! We aren't dating, Selena and I are j-just friends!" Mari stammered awkwardly, glancing at Selena while blushing (a pinkness in her cheeks that Selena's own frazzled face matched). "I'm actually dating Matt, who is...uh...wait."
Mari began glancing at her hands, which were obviously devoid of you, then all over the ground and around her feet. Everywhere but her chest, essentially, which meant it was left to you to dredge up more strength and willpower and finally reform your squished head, calling out to Mari immediately after. Of course, your sudden voice startled Mari and caused her to jump, which in turn sent her breasts and you jostling around like crazy. After her boobs settled down, Mari winced sheepishly and peeled you free.
She then held your half-reformed body out towards Tina. "S-Sorry about all of that. This is who I'm dating. Matt."
Tina's eyes widened appreciatively as you reformed. "Shit, well, now I'm eve more jealous! How is it that the fittest little stud's are the ones already spoken for?" She winked at you, and then laughed as you fidgeted nervously. "Relax, little guy. You're cute, but I'm not in the habit of starting shit between couples!" She then leaned back. "Well, sorry for the awkward mix-up. Can I make it up to you all by leading you to some fun exhibits to start your expo day off with?"
"That would be wonderful, Tina." Jenna spoke up.
Tina flashed your sister a thumbs-up, and then turned on her heel and began walking across the lawn. Jenna and Piper followed right behind her, as did Ashley (your airheaded friend taking a bit a slower time because every little thing kept distracting her poor overworked singular brain cell). Mari and Selena brought up the rear, Mari still flustered at how, for a single second, she'd genuinely forgotten she was dating you and not Selena. Selena, too, found herself troubled, but less by the awkwardness of the situation and more by the fact that, for one blissful second, Mari had seemed to genuinely believe and be happy at the misunderstanding that the two of them were dating. If only, as Selena hoped, that misunderstanding could become reality instead.
You, meanwhile, gave Selena a quick glance and shuddered at the sheer enmity emitted from the glare she was sending your way. Quickly turning back, you gave Mari's thumb a hug as a sign of both affection and (though it was exhausting to consider that you genuinely had to do this with her) a way for Mari to keep feeling you and thus not forget you again.
However, you soon found yourself distracted as Mari carried you through the expo area, your eyes falling upon one terrifying sight after another.
In the distance, a flash of red hair and a curvaceous body that could only be Bea Parker, Ashley's terrifying mother who hated your guts. Two girls practically sucking each other's faces off revealed to be the sadistic power couple of Hanna and Nina, two of Mari's lifeguard friends who tormented tinies for fun. And a glimpse of a dark-haired full-figured girl on the other side of the lawn almost looked like Rika. Not even to mention that you'd heard down the grapevine that Piper wanted to meet up with Dodger and Sydney later. Was fate really just throwing every single possible obstacle in existence into your path today?
You let out a groan. Today was supposed to be fun, but now it was shaping up to be anything but.
1) The first place Tina leads you all to is an exhibit being run by the mad-scientist-esque researcher, Sophie. Sophie's got something extra special and crazy to show you all.
2) The first place Tina leads you all is to a table covered in drones pilotable by tinies, a part of a new initiative in affected-sized transportation. It's run by the studious and oft-exhausted Rebecca, who offers you and Piper a chance to fly your own drone around the lawn.
3) The first place Tina leads you all is to a demonstration table being run by the curvaceous and absent-minded Mackenzie, who is trying to help unaffected practice in finding tinies squished to their bodies. Jenna volunteers you for the experiment, which involves Mackenzie crushing you somewhere onto either her or your friends bodies and tasking them with locating you.
4) On the way to the first exhibit, Ashley gets hungry, so Tina leads the group over to Cynthia's food truck to get something to eat.
5) On the way to the first exhibit, Mari spots Penelope and is filled with rage at the sight of her ex-friend. She (carrying you) stomps her way over to join the debate, with Selena tagging along.
