It's been years since humanity's great shrinking, and Digimon came to claim the planet as their own. Your owner was a Female renamon, and she took care of you. Sure, you weren't free, but at least you were alive, unlike some other humans who got stomped or eaten by accident or on purpose. It was the first year of their control so there was no right for humans at that time however they got jail for their actions later
