Ship Log #16 - It's the 16th day, and god am I bored... it's only been one day since some action, but like I said in the previous log, god do I want to kill something... last night nothing major happened, there was a report of us losing some food, so slight change in plans to restock somewhere along the way, preferably sooner than later. Anyways, I'll go investigate that now, I'll continue this log later.

Went to investigate the crime scene... okay, that sounded weird to say as a previously convicted serial killer... and after a few minutes, along with the id card left on the scene, I used my incredible wit to deduce that the prime suspect was Lana, not helped at all by the fact that the id card was Lana's. After talking with her, she admitted her guilt, she had been rather hungry it seems like. As a punishment, I told her to sparring with everyone else in the combat team.
That was relatively short-lived however as our ship hit a destroyed one, we had found one life-signal that was still alive on the ship, so we took her in, adorable little thing, seems to be a fairy due to her being so small. Didn't know there were fairies that enjoyed traveling outside their planet, they're well known for being isolationist and locking up. She's currently in the medical area with our Crew Doctor, who got arrested for medical malpractice, she claims she was set up, but that's neither here or there. She's with us, and she enjoys being with a bunch of criminals. I'll go talk to the fairy when she wakes up, if she is calm enough to talk with.

I talked with the fairy, she told me her name is Spectra, she was seen as an oddball among the fairies, so she began exploring the universe to find out where she could be herself without worrying what others think and being accepted for that. I listened to her situation, and explained that we had dealt with the monster that destroyed the ship she was in, and that at least for now, she can be a passenger, though with the condition that she does help keep the place clean to some extent at least. She did say something about there being an odd feeling on the ship, something about how there is a weird presence or something, well, I can leave that for later, fairies do have great magic abilities after all. Captain Rudaly will be logging out again.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
