Description: Faced with the spell intended to restore Peter's secret breaking down, threatening to bring everyone who knew his idenitity to their universe, Peter and Doctor Strange are forced to purge him from everyone's memory.
Unwilling to sacrifice her memories (and suspecting he'd pull some noble, they're better off without me bull if left to his own devices), Michelle Jones begs Strange for a loophole, and he finds one. Using a cursed ring he had confiscated from an evil sorceror a few days earlier. Using the ring he could marry Peter and MJ magically, creating a magical link between the two that would protect MJ from forgetting Peter, at the cost of the world forgetting her as well. Additionally the ring would likely have another effect, though he could not predict it.
Despite Strange's warnings, and Peter's hesitation, they went through with the wedding, and the newlyweds settle into their new life, but when Michelle begins to change, how will their life change again.

Unfortunately she has been kidnapped by a cult of men who have a very traditional view of women's place in society. The X-Men mobilize to rescue their comrade, but by the time they did, she had been brainwashed to reflect their views.
Returning to the Xavier institute, Jeanie was most upset with the way her fellow X-Women behaved, and that the men around them accepted it. So she resolved to use her powerful mind to fix it. She would do nothing to the men, aside from nudging them to accept the true way of things, but the women would be sculpted into the proper wives they were meant to be.
However, particularly as she gets her hooks into other telepaths like Emma Frost, and reality warpers like Wanda Maximoff, will Jeanie be satisfied with the Xavier institute, or will she take the cult's campaign worldwide?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
