Naked Adventures

It was a calm Saturday morning; Liz was eating a bowl of cereal while watching a rerun of the King of the Jungle cartoon. She had a plushie of the protagonist next to her in the sofa and her own made loincloth over her shoulder, she never had gotten a chance to use it, but she felt it was her reminder to always be brave and adventurous like her favorite superhero.
While her parents assumed her gymnastics classes were because they were a typical interest for girls of her age, Liz knew it was part of her training to be like the King of the Jungle. She had practiced climbing the trees in the park nearby her house, swinging in the playground’s games and most importantly to try to understand animals. She developed an interest in animals and the fauna around them and read all about them on the internet through documentaries and even training videos of zoos and aquatic parks.

The episode finished when the announcer of the show said the usual phrase over the footage of several different wild animals. “And remember children, like the King of the Jungle, you too can help the wild and make a difference.” Liz knew the following program would be the news, so she stood up and prepared to leave the living room until she heard one of the reports talking about her town. She then remembered the cartoon’s phrase, and something awakened inside of her. It was almost as if destiny was calling her. The white and pink pajamas she was wearing fell on the floor along a pair of white panties.

There she stood naked, holding her loincloth, she imagined this felt like when a superhero dressed up to attend the call of duty. She put it on and opened the door of her house. With her long brown hair, brown eyes and flat chest with only two small bumps growing over it, Liz felt the breeze and took a deep breath hoping she’d make a change. “Mom! I’m going outside, be right back!” She heard her mother’s confirmation from the kitchen, and the girl ran off. Liz quickly hurried feeling the cold concrete against her soles and focused on remembering the news report being…
