Alexander the Mighty was known throughout the lands as a powerful warrior. Even as a Human he possessed incredible strength, enough so that he could wrestle an ogre. Deciding to use that strength to take his living he took up the sword and began the life of sellsword taking bounties against bandits and monsters of all shapes and sizes.

One day he heard rumors of a great dragon hidden in the mountains far from any of human villages. Knowing that dragons hoarded a great number of riches Alexander set out to slay the beast to claim those riches for himsel. Having used his funds to by enchanted armor that would protect him from magical fire, he felt confident in his victory over the dragon.

Alexander hiked the mountains for weeks before discovering a massive cavern that he believed contained the dragon. With a recklass charge into the cavern Alexander began searching for his quarry. His footsteps echoing throughout the cavern as he searched for the dragon and its riches.

Eventually he found both in a larger part of the cave. The Dragon was awake and looking directly at Alexander. “So you’re the one making all that racket,” it spoke in a surprisingly feminine voice.

“Great Beast, I Alexander have come for thy riches! Surrender now! Or face my blade!” Alexander shouted as the dragoness looked at him with a smug grin.

“Does one so young truly believe himself ready? I have lived for hundreds of years, surviving, do you believe you can match my experience whelp?” The Dragoness asked as Alexander growled.

“Have at Thee!” He shouted charging towards the Dragoness. He never noticed the sleep spell cast upon him instantly took affect and he passed out cold.
