This choice: Adele puts herself in more danger, only to be rescued by the wrong hero. • Go Back...Chapter #5Someone Save Adele! No, Not You. by: Keroro04 *pump* *pump* *pump*
"Urgh... my head..."
"Are you sure you want this done?"
"Yes, Ms. Lenore. Anything to see her again..."
Hiring help from the San Diego Outfit was relatively easy, once she let them know she was trying to capture the heart of Omni-Girl. As it turned out, the Outfit had some grievences of their own with the caped heroine, and they thought that a girlfriend was the perfect thing to slow her down. All she had to do in exchange was to try to "weigh her down". Granted, they had different interpretations of weighing them down. To the San Diego Outfit, they intended more of the fattening definition, making her so big that she couldn't move even with her powers.
To Adele though, she took it more as clinging to her as much as possible and spoiling them rotten. Lenore Poe, the mafioso they sent to help her by giving her the ghost's frame, saw the difference with her own eyes... but saw that while the intentions were different, they could still lead to the same goal. After all, she heard all about what she wanted to do with Omni-Gal when they were married.
Stuff like "wanting to spoil her on various vacations, eating at exotic locales making sure she got her fill" or "making sure she never had to worry about going out for anything ever again, by getting Magnus to stop via a pillow smothering until it stuck". She... wasn't exactly the most stable person, apparently. Or if she was, it was currently being distorted by how horny she was for this superheroine in her absolute physical prime.
"I'm just asking cause it seems like your in pain..." Lenore said, putting her spectral hand to Adele's back. She paused a bit, as she felt a brass pipe hidden beneath her clothing. "Wait... what is that for?"
"Just in case..." Was all Adele had to say, as her heart beat just a bit harder. "And this pain... it's not actual pain but a symptom of my danger sense. Migraines are the least of my concerns..."
"Maybe I shouldn't-"
"Sorry, but you gotta do this. I have your frame on loan, after all!"
"Oh boy..." With one push, Lenore saw Adele stumble off the roof of a fifty story skyscraper under the dominion of Hellenic Hotels, letting out a deep sigh. This girl was way creepier than her, and she was a ghost. At the very least, if she died she could reclaim her frame and get it back to the Outfit before forgetting about this all.
As for Adele though, she didn't care a single bit about what Lenore thought. She knew how this city worked. Every time someone got into trouble or tried offing themselves, there was always someone out there who was fully willing to save the day. That's how all of these heroic folks worked after all. So soft hearted that they absolutely needed to push themselves to saving everyone that was around them. Or at least, that's how she saw them in her head.
And while a lot of them were more in it for the wealth or the fame...
*BOING!* *BOING!*
"Got you!"
Some were actually in the heroics game for actual help. People like Charity, the bunny themed superhero who had just intersected himself between Adele and the ground. Catching her in a bridal carry, he'd land to the ground with an incredibly soft impact, his powerful legs holding all of the impact force before releasing it back into the air. They landed in a back alley, away from the line of sights of most people.
On the outside, Adele smiled heavily to keep the illusion of being happy for her savior. Beneath the mask however lied a frustration, as she reached for something in her pockets. If there was one thing he was good for, it was picking the perfect place to land where he wouldn't be seen.
"Oh, thank you so much Mr... uh..."
"Charity." The rabbit-like hero said in response. "And it's my pleasure to help you. Please, keep any funds in your pocket."
"No, no... I insist!" Pulling out a dollar with a gloved hand, she shoved it into Charity's hands. "You just saved me from these thugs! It's the least I could do!"
"Is this... a thousand dollars?" Charity looked very concerned, and tried handing the dollar back as his eyes fluttered close from sudden tiredness. "No, I couldn't... take... you..."
*THUD!*
Crashing onto the ground, Charity was out like a light. Sleeping dust was all over the money of course, which Adele was protected from being affected by wearing protection. Charity however, with his costume lacking gloves he was very much easy to inflict with this quick and harmless method. If that didn't work, her backup plan was to knock him out with the crowbar she wrapped around her back beneath all of the clothing.
But that would have been messy. Too messy for her to get away with. No, she preferred this idea of taking them out quietly. But now she needed to make sure he didn't interfere again. She picked up her phone and called Lenore with the press of a button.
"Hey, Lenore. Meet me at the bottom. Someone other than Omni-Girl saved me. We need to haul him where the sun don't shine so he doesn't do that again."
___
When Charity awoke, the first thing he felt was the painful fullness in his belly. The rabbit boy was particularly good at stuffing it down, but that was because he needed to supplement the strength in his rabbit-like legs by giving it a bunch of calories. Even then though, whatever was already in there was pushing that to the limit.
When he tried airing out a complaint though, he found his mouth filled in with a tube. A tube that currently was running at a very slow pace, pouring the slightest bit of... chocolate? Yeah, this had to be chocolate or something considering the taste, but he also got a hint of banana and peanut butter too. Was this some sort of gainer shake or something? Oh god, was he caught off guard by some freak gainer and knocked out without him even realizing?
He tried getting up to look for Adele, but found his body tied to a pole built into the side of the basement he was in. No matter how much he budged, he could not move either arm nor leg away from the chains wrapped around his body. They must have been made of titanium or something, considering even he couldn't manage to get out of them. Like it or not, he was truly trapped.
That was when Adele stepped down, of course. She took a sip of pina colada from a glass in her hand and revealed herself to Charity. "One down. Looks like Lenore did some really good work in trapping you."
She could hear some muffled yells in response, asking why. She chuckled a bit, and took another sip from her glass.
"Why?" She responded, as she finished her walk down and reached a hand for the rabbit guy's belly and feeling it's tight-packed nature. "Well, it's cause I want a specific woman saving me. A specific hero by the name of Omni-Girl. I... am obsessed with her. I want to be with her, help her overthrow my boss so maybe I can make my company a better place, and then I want to make her never have to worry about lifting a finger again. Possibly even watch as she grows soft and cuddly for me to really dig into her..."
"But you heroes? You're getting in the way of me being saved by her." She put her glass to the side and pulled out a remote. "This remote controls the flow of calorie shake flowing through the tube. When your awake, I tend to keep it at a slow but steady pace. That changes when you're asleep of course. I don't wanna feed you to death after all, so I let your stomach digest and some relief."
Rubbing the rabbit's gut, she gave out a soft smile. "Within a week, I think you'll gain... what, 20 pounds? Maybe more? If you try to escape of course, I'll turn up the nozzle to the next setting up. Let you fill out further. Here, let me give you a quick demo."
For a few seconds, she turned the pump setting to as high as it could go. In that brief moment, an entire gallon pushed itself down Charity's throat, making his already cramped gut stretch out even more with calorie dense chocolate shake.
"Yeah, at a setting like that, you'd gain about four hundred a week, if you even have the capacity for it all of course. If not... well, I'll have Lenore clean up the mess. But for now, you're at "Very Slow". Any questions?"
She pulled the tube out for a brief moment, only to get chocolate in her face as Charity spit out what was in his mouth to gasp for air. She chuckled for a bit, and then shoved the tube back in before turning it up to "Slow".
"You got moxie." Adele admitted, chuckling a bit as she wiped the chocolate off her face. "Let's see if this will take it out of you."
Grabbing her drink, Adele walked back up from the basement before finishing the glass and throwing it to the floor. As Lenore, stuffed into a maid uniform floated to clean it up, she pumped her fist in the air as she got her first potential other hero tied up and unavailable to save her. She had no idea about how many other people were between her and Omni-Girl, but this was an absolute first for her.
"Can you please be more careful?" Lenore asked, sighing a bit from her current master's carelessness.
"Carefulness ain't going to get me Omni-Girl!" Adele retorted back, laughing a bit maniacally. "Tomorrow, we'll try with a classic safe tossed into a lake! That's gonna be a harder save than just catching someone mid fall, so that'll certainly thin out the competition! And hey, if that fails too... that just gives rabbit boy another friend down there!"
"Are we just holding them indefinitely, or are we gonna ransom? What's the-"
"That's irrelevant for now Lenore! Just focus on the bigger picture! And then you can decide what happens to them after we're done or something." indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
