The blonde young man returns to his dorm, and throws himself onto his bed. He closes his eyes with a content smile, blissfully unaware of what he truly got himself into.
And then, blasting in his mind he hears the words, YOU ARE NOW THE HOLDER OF THE RING OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The blaring voice that attempted to be calming sounded like a boat horn going off next to his ear prompting Jaune to nearly jump out of skin. He did at least fall off his bed. YOUR DESIRES BECOME THE TRUTH AS REALITY CONFORMS TO IT.
Jaune is scared silly by this entire thing, wondering if someone is trying to hurt him. He closes his ears but still hears that voice going on in his head. Eventually he learns to trust the voice as it talked more about the Ring of Absolute Truth.
"Can you, uh, please repeat all of that?" He asks the voice as he grabs a sheet of paper and a pencil. He has to write this all down because this is a lot to remember. So the voice explains what the ring is, its power, and its requirements. "Okay so I have to say a catchphrase and the ring does what I want. Oh, and I get hungry and tired depending on I want." He finishes as he jots down the last thing.
"Okay. Hm. The truth is," Jaune says as the ring activates, its gem glowing a bright light, "That when I turn my head I will have a picture of Professor Goodwitch in her bra and panties. And that's it."
And sure enough he finds a picture of the beautiful blonde professor in her undergarments as a brief wave of tiredenss and a small pang of hunger hits him. He could use a snack while the ring deactivates and he takes it off.
What else does Jaune do? He could finally figure out what his semblance is. He could do something to the woman he asked the ring of a picture of. He could do a few things to his female friends. Or he could do something smart and ask for a pager, one that will tell him about how much hunger and exhaustion any new ideas he has will bring about.
