There is a place, some two hundred miles north of the main pass of the Kingdom’s Eastern Mountain Range. This place, which lies in the hills on the western slopes of the mountains, is neither easy to find nor easy to reach. There are no great treasures in this place, and it could mean a painful death if you were caught trespassing by the wrong individuals.
It’s where you hope to have your remains buried one day.
You are in the place of the Ancestors. The Great Ancestors. The place where only the greatest of your people who live in the Kingdom can be buried.
You’re about to go on your first quest, and want their blessing and their guidance.
You stand motionless and silent for some few minutes, in awe of those buried here.
You then turn and depart this sacred place. Soon you will be joining five other novice adventurers like yourself
