As it happens, the possible (but not likely) clue to the location of the Stone of Aygus is supposedly part of a larger treasure. So it was easy to get five other novice adventurers to join you on this quest. Particularly when your Order agrees to supply the gold to support the adventures on this quest, as well as you and your Order both relinquishing any claim to a share of the non-magical portion of the treasure.
Joining your quest is Tabbia, a five and a half foot tall bayata Doduggwa. A bayata is human in appearance, save that they have shell like ears, line markings on their necks and shoulders, and tuftless leonine tails. Bayatas are East Asian in appearance, and are unusually agile and dexterous. Bayatas are natural explorers. A Doduggwa is a class that combines aspects of a common thief, an acrobat, a rock climber and a Shaolin monk.
With Tabbia is a distant female cousin of hers named Marass. Marass is about an inch shorter than her cousin, and is a Terspasu, a Bayatan class of spellcaster who utilizes the powers of her mind
Next you have J’Kob Briadleaf, a seven and a half foot tall male grumpi who carries a huge bow and who is as good in the woods as any elf who has ever lived. A grumpi is a humanoid who is usually found living in swamps and marshes. The average grumpi male is seven and a half foot tall. Grumpis have thick fur in colors like brown, red, gray, and blue. They have long, floppy ears and broad, pink noses. They live with their family and clans and are especially attuned to nature.
Next in your party is Artapleo, a female human priestess of Anakara, the goddess of twilight. Artapleo stands five foot four inches tall, and has the straight hair and slightly darker than average skin that marks her ancestry as originally from a foreign land to the south of the Kingdom.
Finally there is Donk Meteorfist, an eight and a quarter foot tall male plains giant, trained in the ancient fighting skills of his people.
The six of you are currently sitting in the common room of an inn called The Western Edge, in sight of the western wall of the city of Bantul. You are enjoying a meal and afterwards, a good night’s sleep. Because tomorrow, your party begins its quest by traveling
