About half of all Bayata pregnancies result in twins. Of that half, though, only a tenth result in identical twins.

You and your twin sister, Kitui, are part of the nine-tenths that isn’t identical. But you’re still very close, which is why you brought her along to join you on this trip. You also brought your female cousin Puttara along, who is like a sister to you and Kitui.

Kitui is a singer, whose soprano voice is magical, both figuratively and literally. Puttara is a Doduggwa, a class that combines aspects of a common thief, an acrobat, a rock climber and a Shaolin monk.

On a side note, Puttara has no twin.

The dwarf who arranged all this is Gutner Gemdig, an Axeman trained in the traditional fighting ways of dwarves. The remaining two members of your all novice party are
