The Dark Urge sighed as he flipped through the pages of another dusty tome at Sorcerous Sundries. He never understood how Gale found the patience to do all of this reading.
With the destruction of the Nether Brain, rejection his lineage, and brought back to life by Withers for his heroic deeds. The Dark Irger now was just trying to take it easy and help the city get back to normal. Right now he was trying to find spells that would help mend broken buildings and structures.
Rolan, the new owner of Sorcerous Sundries, had given The Dark Urge his blessing to pore through all the books available. Rohan was much more reasonable and level headed thank the previous owners who the Dark Urge had put It was too bad most were pretty dull and bland. They almost seemed like books meant to help people go to sleep.
He hoped Gale would get here soon and make sense of all this jargon. Wizards just loved to hear themselves talk. Why couldn't they just do like sorcerers. Why did they need all these theories and equations.
Gale sure was taking his sweet time. Gale had given up godhood and dedicated himself being a professor at Blackstaff Academy at Waterdeep. Dark Urge knew that Gale knew how to teleport. He should have been here seconds after he got his sending message.
The Dark Urge's belly grumbled. He wished Gale would get here soon, he was getting hungry.
Suddenly a puff of smoke appeared. The Dark Urge coughed as he inhaled the smoke. "Sorry I'm late I just needed to finish my meal before I got here." As the smoke cleared he saw that Gale was standing in front of him. But something was different.
The Dark Urge's eyes trailed to Gale's midsection. Gale was wearing his signature purple robes but now there was a bump, his muscled frame softened up a bit. Clearly Gale was enjoying the academic life.
Gale couldn't help but notice the Dark Urge looking at his small belly. "Ah you noticed! So you see..."
