Ah the Githyanki! Now how should our Gith Friend gain?
1) She becomes addicted to Sweets? Since Lae’zel isn’t from Faerûn she wouldn’t be used to the cuisine, so what if she discovers sweets and loves them to an obscene degree? (Whether with a paramour or without, hell you can even have a Tav or Durge gain with her)
2) Shadowheart grows irritated with Lae’zel’s constant aggression, and fearing her discovering the artifact in her possession, casts a cleric curse on Lae’zel to keep her preoccupied with an endless hunger.
3) Following the events of the story, Lae’zel retires to a softer life with her child (Gith Egg hatched) whether with a paramour or alone.
