Torvald’s massive frame loomed over Elias, the air thick with tension. His voice softened, but the weight of his words pressed harder. “Make it right?” he rumbled, eyes searching Elias’s trembling form. Then, unexpectedly, his expression shifted—a spark of something tender flickered in the storm of his gaze. “There’s only one way to mend this, boy.”
Elias froze, heart hammering. “W-what do you mean?”
Torvald’s lips curled into a faint, almost mischievous smile. “We must kiss.”
Elias’s breath caught, his wide eyes locked on the giant’s. “Kiss?” he stammered, voice barely a whisper, cheeks already warming. The world seemed to shrink to just the two of them, the forest fading into a blur.
Torvald didn’t wait for an answer. With surprising gentleness, his enormous hand scooped Elias up, fingers curling carefully around his small frame. Elias gasped as he was lifted, weightless in the giant’s grip, his stomach flipping as Torvald brought him closer. The giant’s face filled his vision—rugged, weathered, yet softened by something raw and unspoken. Elias’s pulse thundered, anticipation and nerves tangling as Torvald’s warm breath brushed his skin.
Their lips met, tentative at first, Elias’s smaller mouth trembling against the giant’s. Then it deepened, urgent and electric, like a spark igniting Elias passion to deeping the kiss. Elias’s hands found Torvald’s jaw, fingers digging into coarse stubble, pulling himself closer despite the size difference. Torvald’s free hand pressed gently against Elias’s back, steadying him, grounding the dizzying rush. It was messy, fervent, a collision of desperation and trust—Elias’s fear melting into something warmer, something alive.
When they finally parted, Elias’s chest heaved, his lips tingling. He stared up at Torvald, dazed, his face burning crimson. Torvald’s cheeks, too, were flushed, a rosy hue spreading across his weathered skin, his eyes wide with a vulnerability Elias hadn’t seen before.
“Oh god,” Torvald muttered, voice rough but soft, almost shy. He set Elias down carefully, though his hand lingered near, as if reluctant to let go. “Didn’t think you’d… mean it like that.”
Elias swallowed, his blush deepening, but a shaky smile tugged at his lips. “I—I didn’t know I could,” he admitted, voice cracking with nervous laughter. “But I… I’m glad I did.” secretly to himself. He said that I just have my first kiss!?!
Torvald’s gaze held his, the fury from before replaced by something warmer, almost reverent. “You’re a strange one, Elias,” he said, a faint chuckle rumbling deep in his chest. “But maybe… maybe you’re worth the trouble you cause.”
Elias’s heart leapt, the weight of his mistake still there but lighter now, shared between them. “So… are we good?” he asked, voice hopeful, still catching his breath.
Torvald’s blush lingered, but he smirked, leaning down slightly. “For now, little one. But don’t think one kiss fixes everything.” His tone teased, but his eyes said otherwise, glinting with a promise of more to come.
