The cages with metal bars, even tho looking dangerous, were the biggest, even so Roy could easily hedge himself between the bars to get in. If he wanted to. Which he should because he needs a place to sit and hide until the train reaches its unknown destination. Glancing over the cages and the Pokémons in them, most of them were threateningly large and awake, looking back at Roy. Still, those are tame Pokémons, they should know how to behave.
Placing his worries aside, Roy looked at the first row of cages. The first four had a:
- Nidoking -
The enormous armored bunny that could inflict poison on his foes. He was sitting down on what seemed to be a mattress. He was looking at Roy, not angry or happy either, just with a blank expression towards him.
- Blastoise -
The final evolution of the Kanto starter, a water type that can shoot streams of boiling water towards its enemies. But Roy wasn't an enemy, he just needs a place to hide. The Blastoise was also looking at Roy, lying down on its belly, waiting for the human to approach.
- Pidgeot -
A flying type, it makes sense to find it in a cage. Still, that doesn't mean it's not dangerous, it could easily peck Roy's eyes out or gust him against the metal bars. Yet, it seemed better to try and reason with a powerful bird than a giant with powerful skin and powers.
- Houndoom -
The develish canine, horns, and bones attached to his body, not to mention its develish tail. It might be the smallest one Roy could spot for now, but that doesn't mean it's not dangerous, far from it.
Roy heard a loud honk, telling him the train was about to begin moving again and somebody would more likely check on each cart. He should hide right away.
