"Ooh, I'll have some strudel please." Haley said with a grin, pointing to her favourite food.
"Alright then, darling. Apple or raspberry and cream?" Miss Patty replied.
"Uhh, why not one of both?" Haley asked. Miss Patty smiled. This girl was going to be a very good customer indeed, she just knew it.
Miss Patty smiled at Haley as she handed the coyote her two boxes of strudel. The way her expression subtly shifted as she was handed then confirmed Miss Patty's theory. Despite being skinny, Haley's inner fat girl was beginning to take over, and that was very good for her.
"Thank you. Have a great day!" Haley chirped, as she turned on her heel and walked towards the door.
"You too darling!" Miss Patty called at her retreating back. The mouse felt like she'd be seeing Haley again very, very soon, and possibly quite a lot, if her assumptions were correct.
